In reply to: Front end user profiles from scratch – How to?Thank you for your responses, folks.
I understand the formality – plugins and themes, but all I see are php files in different directories. Maybe if I wanted to show data on a page AND make my own modifications to the database, I’d go for a plugin, or if I wanted to contribute it to the repository, but for now my theme is my plugin. I don’t expect anyone to have to come after me and make sense of my setup.Excuse me. I got this wrong. The issue is when the post initially appears after I hit “Add Video”. Is there simply not a way to render new activity with the Buddypress theme’s CSS?

Excuse the long delay. I haven’t been receiving email notifications.

In reply to: Login form not submittingOooooooooooh. Thank you! I completely forgot that I enabled this plugin a few days ago.
Invisible ReCaptcha. Simple enough once I knew it was the culprit. Just went into the plugins directory and changed the folder name. Better than messing around with the database.
Thanks for your time, Neil. Have a great day!
Yes, it helped tremendously. But what the problem actually was will remain a mystery as it wasn’t the theme, yet it was one of the plugins. Reactivating each one, it didn’t revert back to the improper metadata.
It’s like that old joke about restarting the computer to fix it.Many thnaks
Ace.
I’ve overridden the theme’s
@media screen
z-index to -1 and .site’s margin to 0.Thanks!

In reply to: [BuddyPress Activity Plus] Thumbnail overrided by child theme.bpfb_images img {max-height: 500px !important;}
The !important after the desired CSS rule is necessary to override any other classes/IDs.

In reply to: Visual/text Editor scroll bar missing after upgrade to WP 4.0My issue is in Mozilla Firefox 32.0.5 where the menu bar hoovers, which makes the drop-down tools unusable unless the dropdowns are in their original position (you’re fully scrolled to the top of the page).
