    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out! When an image gets compressed with the Tinify plugin, the original version will be replaced with the compressed one.

    In your case, could it be that the image shown on the webpage is a different thumbnail version? It’s possible to determine which image versions you would like to get compressed by the plugin. In your WordPress dashboard?go to?Settings > Compress JPEG & PNG images and make sure that the image size is selected that is shown on your page.

    If the correct thumbnail is compressed, is it possible that your images are cached on your website via a CDN for example?
