Hi @jmfouquer,
Thank you for reaching out. I am sorry to hear about this trouble.
Can you please confirm if you have tested the functionality by activating and deactivating MonsterInsights, and then identified that deactivating MonsterInsights enables the flip to work again?
If yes, then could you please raise a ticket here so we can look at it closely? https://www.monsterinsights.com/contact/Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thanks!
Hi @amyskea,
Thank you for reaching out, and I am so sorry about this trouble and confusion.
MonsterInsights fetch the data from the Google Analytics property it is connected to within the site. So, if you are seeing mixed reports, that means it is possible that multiple sites are connected with the same Google Analytics property.
Each site should have a dedicated Google Analytics property, and only that should be connected with the site, so the tracking data can be sent to that particular property.
Could you please check if you are using a separate property or not? You can do this by login into your Google Analytics account and see the Account details here: https://a.supportally.com/i/IR8hBE
Please check and let us know what you find. Thanks!
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. I apologize for this confusion.
It is totally possible that this plugin might have come pre-installed, as some hosting providers install a few plugins when installing WordPress. Similarly, some other plugins also recommend those as well, and provide the option to install them with just a click. It’s possible that this might have been missed.
MonsterInsights provides general analytics and traffic metrics for your site, helping you understand how users are accessing your site and which content they prefer. You can see which pages they spend the most time on and whether they continue to explore your site or exit without further interaction.
Our goal is to provide business owners and decision-makers with the information they need to make informed decisions about their site and marketing, without having to hire a full-time analytics expert.
In case if you have any other questions for us, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you further!
Have a great day!

Have a great day!Hi @sybydesign,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. I apologize about this experience.
Let me try to help you understand the value we are trying to provide with the Lite version of the plugin.
Our Lite version comes with six of our starter tracking tools (including custom link tracking and download link tracking) and our Dashboard inside your WordPress site which delivers you critical details about your website traffic including page views, tops posts and pages and more.
Here is how:
A Dashboard with the following stats:- Page Views For the last 30 Days
- Top Posts and Pages
- Top Traffic Sources
- Top Countries with their views
The following tracking features are automatically setup:
- A filter that removes or includes the various user roles so logged-in users are excluded from your Google Analytics reports (or included, if you prefer.)
- Demographics reporting if you set it up, so you can get to know your site visitors by their demographics according to Google.
- Enhanced Link Attribution
- Anchor Link attribution for single-page sites.
- Download link Tracking
- Affiliate Link Tracking
- Telephone Link Tracking
- Email Link click tracking
- Outbound link tracking
- Custom link click events
- Permissions for the various user roles.
I understand it may not sound much, but this is what a user can get in an easy to digest reports so that they can work on growing their website or blog.
You may only see it as a single page, since all the data goes directly to Google Analytics servers, and available only after Google has processed it, you can create custom reports within Analytics to get the data report you require.
Hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, please open a ticket. We are happy to help!

Hi @waqakram,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I’m sorry for any frustration caused. We try to provide as much value as possible to our users by suggesting plugins that we integrate with directly for more reporting features, because a lot of users aren’t aware of them and can benefit greatly.
This is shown within the setup wizard, when clicking Continue while in step 4 of 5 (in the Which website features would you like to enable? Page), you’ll be able to see text indicating The following plugins will be installed… if those options are selected.
If you preferred to not use our suggested plugins, you’ll be able to either deselect them for installation in the Setup Wizard under the?Add Recommended Plugins To My Website?option, skip that step entirely by clicking on?Skip for Now, or if you decide after completing the setup wizard to not use them, you’ll be able to remove them like other WordPress plugins. Even after installation, you can remove those plugins anytime, without any issues.
We really appreciate you for giving us a try. If you have any further feedback, please let me know, and I’ll be happy to forward it to the rest of the team.
Thank you.
