BTW I have images in the 1st column.
Thanks Tobias, that adds the functionality i was looking for, however when i switch it on, it seems to overlay the column with an out of line copy of itself when the screen size changes and the scrolling is activated, so when I scroll the table i get two versions of the 1st column with one being out of line!
I have a screen shot of the test i did but don’t know how to ad it!Thank you.
I think I may have found a work around. Thats to install the Tinymce Advanced plugin for the editor and use the config item – do not remove <p> tags from posts.
Seems to have done the trick, but that isn’t the root cause. I’ll do some more investigation when I have more time.
Thanks.
Ok, so I’ve put the old version of the table back with no GEO code in it and the page displays fine, so there is something with the geo short code and tablepress that is causing the <p> to disappear.
Is there any code or anything that can be wrapped around the short codes to stop this?
Thanks, something strange has now occurred.
I’m now losing all the paragraphs formatting on the page where I have the table. If I remove the table short code from the page it works fine, if I add it back it screws up the page again. It’s happened to both the pages where I have amended the table to include the geo fields.
I also tried just removing the clear cache and leaving the table in same issue.
The two pages are:

I have all caching switched off.
I think I’m going mad!! lol
Actually I think I have worked it out from your previous posts on the subject.
I’ve added cache_table_output=false / to the table shortcode and it seems to have done the trick. It also made me look at two other caching facilities I use and I’ve had to exclude the pages from both of them to make the geo work properly!

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Geo Targetting Rows in a tableOk, thanks for a very quick response.
Regards
NeilI upgraded successfully and all works as before ??
I did a restore and all worked fine again.
I went through each table and about a third of them had the dubious commands in them. It’s possible that I had transferred them across when creating them. However it doesn’t explain how the data tables for those got “switched on” as part of the upgrade.
Still I’ve fixed it all now, thanks for the insite as it enabled me to clean things up a bit. Thanks for your help, I hope you didn’t spend too much time doing a code review.
All the best
Neil. Thanks Tobias, I have just noticed that these custom commands have been copied across from one of my tables to all of my tables. Must have been when the update happened as all my tables now have DataTables switched on when they didn’t to beging with.!! I’m going to restore everything back pre upgrade, backup the tables and then do the upgrade to see if I get a clean install!
.Thank you Tobias that works perfectly.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Sorting rows by column contentsThanks Tobias that works a treat.
Happy Christmas
Neil.Thank you for such a quick response. I will have a play with what you have suggested. I do remember though that i switched on the scrolling to resolve an issue I was having when the table was being displayed “responsively”. Oh well I might have to have a rethink!

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Float table next to an imageThank you Tobias. Your code worked, but I had to split the table in two for it to break down nicely for small mobile devices. I have tried the responsive plugin you developed, but it didn’t do what i needed.
Thanks for your help and quick responses.
