I have the same issue:
In the profile editor (buddypress) is no form the edit the signature.

So, this plugin is not offering a signature-feature for websites with buddypress & bbPress ?!

From their FAQ:

But I really need to remove the copyright. I’m doing this site for my employer/company/grandmother and I have to. Is there no other way?

By removing the copyright link you’re killing Mantra. You’re responsible. There’s blood all over your hands.

What i didnt understand … why my site is slow with activated wppa; when wppa is deactivated, the site works good.

I reactivated wppa.

ok, i reactivated the plugin (in the meantime, i had to deactivate wppa, due to the loadtime).

I think, you will also notice the very long loading-time of my website (https://www.huesten.de) …. takes a few seconds on every frontend-page (even on sites without an gallery).

I activated wppa-debugging now, but i could see anythink usual (Gallery-Page: https://www.huesten.de/fotogalerie/) attched with ?debug

Now I tried a Plugin-Performance-Measurement:
While I scan my site with “P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler)”, i get:

A fatal error occurred during profiling: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 41 bytes) in file /is/…/wp-content/plugins/p3-profiler/classes/class.p3-profiler.php on line 297

When I deactivate WPPA+, the performance-scan finishes without the memory-error.
128 MB memory seem to be a good value, and I think, a gallery should run with that. Maybe this is a hint, why WPPA+ slows my website so much?!

Any tipps would be nice!

As a short notice:

I tried the Plugin CodeStyling Localization, from:
https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/codestyling-localization/
to avoid a client-tool, and down/uploading.

It shows some compatibility-issues of unexspected thing in the wppa-poedit-files. Maybe you’re interessted in it. Translating “wppa” seems to have no effect with this plugin.

But, I will try the poedit soon.

German error-text from “CodeStyling Localization” is:
