The message you’re looking to change is managed by the Contact Form 7 plugin, not the Antispam protection plugin.

In case you need to change the default message for visitors that fall into the rules of the Antispam settings, you can change it from the plugins settings when you edit your Contact Form 7 and then adjust the Antispam settings within the plugin’s interface.

The only thing I can think of is that the spambot doesn’t use normal characters for the domain @gmail.com

Try to post a message from our website contact form using @example.com or @gmail.com.

It looks like that either you didn’t use an email field in your form or another plugin is conflicting with the submit process of your form.

The plugin is thoroughly tested and updated a few weeks ago.

The plugin also blocks phrases.

A phrase like ( selling your Business, ) will work perfect, but if a bot sends a message like ( Sell your business ” which is different, it will go through.

You have to be careful thought with single words like SEO, because it will block any message or word that looks like SEO or has as part the SEO letters.

Saving all field in the log file needs changes in ite plugins code, we will consider your request maybe in one of our future updates.

You cannot use <site> as part of the filename.

Please uninstall and reinstall the plugin.

Follow the detailed instructions you find under each field, save the Contact form 7 setting and test.

This plugin doesn’t have any build in phrases that appeared in any page. And nothing about any CAPTCHA message. It’s a plugin that works in the background when someone is posting a contact form7 Form.

The failure message that appeared in case of a spam can be set by the user in any language.

The messages about the CAPTCHA possibly are coming from the contact form7 or another CAPTCHA Plugin you may use.

Please check carefully the plugins you are using, and which ones have built in messages that need to be translated.

The widget always clears the current log file.

If you’ve changed the default log file name, the old file remains in the file system. You’ll need to delete that file manually or, even better, clear the log file just before changing its name.

It’s not recommended to block words with only 2 letters, as it may block many legitimate emails. Instead, we suggest using phrases that contain two or more meaningful words.

You can also use single words that are unrelated to your website’s representation, but try to avoid 2-letter words like ‘AI.’

This behavior can be prevented from contact form 7 settings of each field.

Additionally, you can have a JavaScript function executed before the form submission to prevent this.

FYI … “Disable RSS and ATOM feeds:” is not turning ON if you import settings or it doesn’t exist when you export your settings.

Yeap, that was the problem.

I tested it in a site by changing the username without disabling the users enum, and they found the new username.

I wonder why www.ads-software.com doesn’t have a security option for this build in.

Agree, that’s a nice suggestion.

Unfortunately, this is how contact-form7 handles the errors and since this plugin is designed to work together with contact-form7 we have to accept the error’s handler workflow.

I’ll look at it if there is a workaround for that.
