Make sure you update login-with-ajax.js in your theme folder. That’s if you’re using a custom template for your widget.

This fixed my problem, which was the same as yours.

I was able to fix this by updating the login-with-ajax.js into my theme folder with widget.css.

Is there a way where you can make this not required to add this along with widget.css?

The new css doesn’t work without having that .js file in the folder with it.

Chrome no longer does:
{“result”:false,”error”:”Please supply your username and password.”,”action”:”login”}
but it now just sits there spinning the animation and does nothing. Comes up with no dialog box/error.

This is when you just click login and put no input. Same in Chrome and Firefox.

How did you go about doing that upcoming events? Is that using the widget? I’m new to all this and pretty much am trying to hardcode this into the template I’m making.
