Just a note: we’ve fixed this exact issue. The plugin now obeys timezones set in your WordPress dashboard.

Hey guys, we’ve just released a fix for this, to get around the login issue you can disable Javascript on the login page:

Login and update Launchpad, then you can safely re-enable it.

We are also looking for this hook, I hope that a solution is found. Currently we are unable to backup theme-specific options (for content migration purposes)

FYI if you are ever having a similar issue it’s advisable to see the settings on your caching plugin.

Caching plugins may cause Launchpad not to work OR the auto launch feature not to work correctly.

Thanks for the update. I’ll mark this as resolved but I want to add for anyone else who sees this forum that it’s possible that if you have a caching plugin installed, the Launchpad holding page can be cached, so you need to be certain that you’ve cleared the cache for the auto launch to work.

When you choose your custom background, make sure that the checkbox stays checked, and that the background you like is highlighted, we’ve seen the occasional bug where a brand new background uploaded does not keep the checkbox checked, also that the background selection needs to be saved twice.

We will try and replicate and investigate this issue, thank you for bringing it up. It could be an issue with your server’s time and your local time, make sure your server’s clocks are set to your local time.
