In reply to: [codeSnips] Impossible to create new post snippetsHi Li-An, sorry about that. Life has taken over. I have a new baby and that leaves little time to code. Will try to look at this as soon as time allows.

In reply to: [codeSnips] cannot create new snippetsLet me try it on a new clean installation of WordPress 4.9.1 to see what happens.

In reply to: [codeSnips] cannot create new snippetsHave you tried to disable other plugins and revert to the main theme? I wonder if there is a conflict within your site.

In reply to: [Ad Blocking Advisor] Not working on postsYou have a lot going on with your website. Have you tried to disable all plugins, re-enable this one and see if it works?
There’s a conflict somewhere. I can’t tell where it is.
I do see this in your source, maybe it is part of the conflict?
<script type="text/rocketscript">(function(){id='xJQcDUvuMbHZ-aH9hKULe3S46';function l(u){var e=document.createElement('script');e.type='text/javascript';e.src='https://www.adblockanalytics.com/'+u;e.async=0;var x=document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];x.parentNode.insertBefore(e,x);}l('ads.js');l('analyze.js');})();</script>
Again it is hard to tell. Try to disable all plugins, enable the ad block advisor and see if it works.
If it does, enable each plugin one-by-one until you find the one that breaks it.
It could also be your theme? Try the default WP theme and see if that helps to track down what’s going on.

In reply to: [Ad Blocking Advisor] Full-width blank bar appears at bottom of footerI’ve gone ahead an updated the plugin to 2.0 which eliminates the blank bar. Please update and give it a try.

In reply to: [Ad Blocking Advisor] Not working on postsAt quick glance, your CSS looks like it should be working on pages too. I’ve just gone ahead and updated the plugin to 2.0. Give it an upgrade and lets see if that helps?

In reply to: [Ad Blocking Advisor] Not workingJust to send an update; I’ve updated the plugin to version 2.0 which fixes this issue and a couple of others.

In reply to: [Ad Blocking Advisor] Not workingThanks for testing it out. I didn’t have a chance to get to it today. Let me test it on a couple of my test sites and I’ll issue an update

In reply to: [Ad Blocking Advisor] Not workingHmm, maybe you’re right. This is the first I’m seeing this. Can you give it a try in your install (remove the last
'
)?If that fixes it for you, I’ll do some testing here too and issue an update.

In reply to: [Ad Blocking Advisor] Not workingHow did you install the plugin? The script looks weird in your view source. Specifically all the HTML after the .js.
<script type='text/javascript' src='wp-content/plugins/ad-blocking-advisor/js/ad-blocking-advisor.js'%20defer%20onload='' defer onload=''></script>
Accessing that URL directly shows 404 – so this is part of the problem.
Are you using caching?
Can you remove the plugin and re-install it?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [randomPost] Is this plugin dead?Using a hotkey and a modifier could cause some other issues, too with the browser’s native controls. For example a user could enter CTRL+R to want to get a random post, but CTRL+R is refresh on most browsers.
Shift+R could work though. Maybe it’s a matter of saying to avoid using CTRL.
So having a modifier may introduce more problems. Again, still researching.

In reply to: [randomPost] Is this plugin dead?It says it on the sidebar of the plugin settings page once installed.
You’re right I should be more active here. The problem was previously there was not a way to get notified of new posts. It’s since changed. However previously when notifications were not available checking this everyday has slowly fallen off the priority list due to other projects I’m working on.
Anyways, as said before – if you’re aware of some security hole in this plugin please let me know. I follow the WP release cycle closely, and I am not aware of any security problems within this plugin. As a result, there’s no need to update it for the sake of updating it.
I’ll look into the two button combination to see how to implement that. It’s the first I’m hearing of it (do people really just press R on the keyboard by accident?), so I’ll need to research.
This plugin is offered for free, and I do my best to keep it updated in my spare time.

In reply to: [Ad Blocking Advisor] Full-width blank bar appears at bottom of footerI can’t view the image that Johnny Black posted and I don’t see the blank bar on my dev sites. Are you able to post a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
