In reply to: Lists after MORE do not validateNow, I’m guessing no one else does, either. ??

In reply to: Lists after MORE do not validateNo, there aren’t. The validation issues only occur on individual archive pages with an unordered list. Feel free to check the rest of my pages where unordered lists do not appear. The problem is that WP wants to put a paragraph tag before the more anchor and it does not close it out when there is an unordered list right after the more tag. I just don’t know how to fix it.

In reply to: Protecting AdminNo significant improvements? It’s another layer someone has to get through in order to get into the system. First, you have to get access to the directory, THEN you have to get access to the WP backend. Of course, it’s not as secure as using a password that changes every 15mins, but we can’t all afford secure IDs for a stupid little blog. ??

In reply to: Trackback problemsAh, I see. Fickle, are they? ?? I was just wondering if I should be concerned with putting in the fix or not. I don’t SEEM to have trouble, and I’m pretty sure people can ping me with no problems…. Guess I’ll let it go for now.

In reply to: Comment moderationI’ve tried it. Followed the directions, and it doesn’t work. I’ve posted two comments on her site asking for help, but have gotten no replies. Are there any plugins that would conflict with this one? I can post the entire list of plugins I’m using (yet again, but first time here), if someone would please be willing to help me.

In reply to: CSS ProblemOkay, I’ve sinced moved it live, having decided that the niggling little border thing was better than the menu that extended beyond the bottom of the content. Main page is https://www.wickedmuse.net/index.php and the css is at https://www.wickedmuse.net/wp/wp-layout.css
Thanks for any tips on the border deal… it may just be a Firefox thing, but I’d really like to fix it if at all possible.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: CSS ProblemSorry. try here, podz. https://www.wickedmuse.net/index3.php I’m not working on the site directly since I didn’t want to break anything.

In reply to: CSS ProblemWell, it LOOKED like what I could use, but it’s giving me a headache. ??
I don’t want a column border on the menu…. and the border I put around the #rap seems to be overwritten with the background color until I scroll the page. Very strange. I’ll keep working on it. ??
Ye gods, trying to merge my html and the template html as well as trying to merge the css is enough to make a person cry.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: CSS ProblemThank you, Root. ?? I’ll take a look. I hope it fixes my issue! I did see a page (listless) with a long menu and the content stretching so maybe this is it! (dares to hope) ??
