Thank you for responding so quickly. We’re using your plugin for our townhome community. We have about 6 categories, community events, town events, etc. Most of our users are either unfamilar with RSS or don’t use it. So the scenario is a user wants to be notified when an event in a particular category is posted so they can calendar the ones interested in. Here’s an example: We post a 4th of July event. It’s now April so unless users review the months ahead they won’t know the event it planned until June at the earliest. They’d like to know sooner so they can plan. It is not necessary for a user to be logged in to view our Events Calendar so I guess we’d have to ask them for an email address in order to send the email. Alternatively we could tell them they are required to be a logged in member of the site in order to receive email notifications – and that’s probably ok.

Thank you SO much Andrea. That worked. I was able to change the theme to 2010 and can now access both the site and Network Admin. You are a star!

One more thing. How do I make the initial sort for the directory to be alphabetical? It seems to be coming up in the order in which the entries are put in.

Thank you for responding. I could probably handle the template. The problem is that there is no facility for using it that I can find in Cleanroar.

Well, I tried to follow the instructions in the second link but no joy. I’m using sub-domains and the writer seems to be using directories – maybe that’s the reason. I’m going to paste everything I can think of below in the hope that someone will be able to help me through this problem. Of course I’m happy to provide any other information which may be needed to diagnose this issue. I’d sure appreciate help.
