It seems the problem was with the Theme I had chosen. I changed the theme and now the meow-galleries displays out to the edges, just as I wanted. So the problem is solved, but I liked the previous theme, so any tip on how to control the page with of a theme is appreciated :-). And sorry for blaming your gallery ??

It is here https://www.oddvartveito.com. I have gone back to boxed layout. But the problem still persists. On all pages and posts except for the homepage, the meow gallery uses only about 60-70% of the total width of a page. I select “Wide Width” or “Full width” when editing the meow gallery on a page or post edit, and then the gallery widens out. But when I update the page and check it, the gallery width is still only 60% of the total page width. It seems a width parameter is set elsewhere, and this “elsewhere” overrules the settings you do when you edit the gallery in the first place. I have no left columns selected that could take up space.

“…As it’s pro-version related, I will close the ticket here, and we will help you directly by email. …”

You should not close pro-version related issues and handle them by mail only. That means other pros-users are unable to see the solution. Why do you do that?
My site also seems to consume a lot of bandwith. Im not sure what to expect, so Im not sure wether its normal. I would therefore like to see your comments in public to learn.

Thanks for a detailed and instructive answer!
About “our own themes”. meowapps.com/themes/ still only has the text “They are coming soon! We plan to unveil our themes with WordPress 5.0.” So, have you published any Themes?
I checked out Divi. That seems like the opposite of using standard WP functionality. They even have their own page builder. Is this really light themes using standard WP functionality?

Last question: How do I see that a theme is “a WordPress’ one”? Is FotoGraphy that? The search in the admin seems like a mixture of WordPress themes and external commercial one, right?

Maybe you should make it clearer in your description what a Gallery is and what a LightBox is. As a newbe like me I did not even consider the possibility that a Gallery was not able to display individual pictures. I did see your bulletpoint about Lightbox not included, but I didn’t know what a Lightbox is, so I ignored it.

Exactly, thats what I wanted. Now it works! I didn’t know that’s what it is called. I thought that was part of the functionality of a Gallery.

OK, Gutenberg is just a more modern page editor. There is nothing more there about controlling the functionallity of the MEOW Gallery.

Thanks for quick reply :-). Gutenberg is only mentioned in your tutorial. There is no mentioning of Gutenberg in my wp-admin. Please advise.
But my gallery is now clickable. I had to choose “Link to” Mediafile. But very primitive. Only a display of a jpeg-file. No arrows to step through images, no full screen, etc. Nothing of the fancy stuff I can see at your MEOW GALLERY page.
I just started off and tried to do it simple.
    1. Transferred 5 images using your WP/LR Sync addon
    2. Created new page called Gallery and added it to the menu in the home page
    3. Added a block by clicking the + sign in the upper left and selected Meow gallery
    4. Hit Update
    5. After your advice selected link to Mediafile

So I have now a clickable gallery but with none of the functionality shown in your website. Please advice!
