thank You. I also think the reason is only the formatting of the date field.

I use minimalistic event manager which created in the database table options:
post_id 141610
meta_key _mem_start_date
meta_value 2019-02-16 13:00

I have also an workaround: I use “order=DSC” combined with “count=XX”. This has two disadvantages:
1.: The descending order isn’t what I want and
2.: Each time the number to display the events I must change the count.
But it’s also better than nothing.

The additions in the code didn’t help. Excerpt is not displayed. Maybe I have to activate it anywhere? In the widget I didn’t find a possibility.

I have another problem: The mem widget in the sidebar should not display the excerpts but in a special page named “event” I want to display them. If in the widget had an activation field for excerpt, this could be a solution.
Is there any possibility?

It’s the same situation with the themes Twenty8teen and Twenty Sixteen… Both themes have media query (@media print {…}) in their style.css. The rules work in the custom template but not in the Custom CSS of the plugin.

Sorry, but obviously my re-translation of “Custom CSS” into “own css” was wrong.
But:
My css-rules in “Custom CSS” / “space for print sheet rules” are not executed. When I put in in my custom template (adapted from https://xnau.com/using-the-pdb_template-helper-class-in-a-custom-list-template/) after

Using “User Role Editor” by Vladimir Garagulya I copied the WP Editor role an named the new role pdb. In another case I tried “WPFront User Role Editor” by Syam Mohan, copied original Editor to an new role pdb-2. That’s all.

This I tried on two servers, but in both cases the new roles are not shown in Admin settings.

my new role is a copy of Editor and contains “edit_others_posts” capability but it isn’t shown in Admin settings.
Maybe You have a limited number of roles? As I use some plugins, which installed their own roles I had already 8 roles – and all 8 roles are shown…

What do you mean with “correctly registered with WordPress”?
I tried two different role editors to add a new role. In the WP backend the new role is shown, I can select if I want to edit role of a “normal” wp user. But in the admin settings of the participants database the role is’t show up.

I checked Participants Database Email Troubleshooter? All ok. After login I’m redirected to site with [pdb_signup_thanks], but there is no Information. Then I tested in signup form “same site” without result.

Hi xnau, I’ve exactly the same problem: From local server not emails. Normal wp user registration works fine, but Participants Database dosn’t send any email. I also tried Database setting and php settings – without result.
Please help.
