I also wait the next version. Can You say something about the development status?

I want to use the plugin to sent post notifications to subscribers who are not wp-users (NO wp-role). They shouldn’t have any access to the backend. The actual profile page contains registered wp-users (“Do not send notifications for post made by these authors” …). This part they shouldn’t see also. But on the other hand the top part
“Notification Settings
Receive email as …
Automatically subscribe me …
Subscribed Categories
Select / Unselect All …”
is essentially for my users/subscribers. But if they have no wp-role, in the actual version 10.21 they don’t get the profile page at all.
Unfortunally I cannot help You to code, but if You want, I can test. And if the plugin is ready and usable (for my purposes) I’ll translate it in german.

in fact meanwhile I looked for another plugin, but nothing meets my requirements (too complex, no possibility that users can define categories, they subscribe and so on).
So I exported users, edited categories an wanted to re-import. But there is another problem: I get an error: “Import error Invalid category (1)”.
But: the category 1 exists and belongs to some subscribers. For example export record is: “[email protected],,1,4,5,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,26,28,82,181,218,665,807,974,1164,1569,1619,1679”.
Of curse I can ignore this category, because it is for universal purpose. This means posts, which do not fit more detailed cats, but this can not the solution.

unfortunately I have no access to the database. And because I was afraid to lost some configuration de-activating and re-activating the plugin I looked for another way. So first I made a new post and tried to send the notifification automatically. It works and dosn’t block further notifications!
However

* in the not fully notified post remains the entry “Eine Benachrichtigung für diesen Beitrag ist bereits in Arbeit. Bitte schau sp?ter noch einmal vorbei.” (“Post notif for this post is already IN PROCESS. Please check back later.”)
* In “View Post Notifs Sent” there are only manually sent test-notifs and no entry about the sucessfully sent notification.
* And in the sucessfully sent post there is also the entry “Post notif for this post is already IN PROCESS. Please check back later.” This is very confusing.

In Your next release of Post Notif a way to cancel an in-process notification process would be good. But in my case it dosn’t help: I don’t know who received the notification and who didn’t. If only 5% didn’t receive and I resend to all, 95% will be annoyed, because they receive the notification twice. So I have to ignore this post.

For next release I’ve a wish: In the section “Manage Subscribers” a possibility to edit the categories of the subscribers.
The background is following: First I wanted to notify about “all” categories, but later added a new category which is excluded. The earlier imported subscribers have “all” and I want to delete the new category for them.

You write “…but also with any pages you create via the WordPress dashboard.” In the case of my site that isn’t right. I have this issue only with the pseudo pages, created by post notif. Manually created posts show only comments relating the post. In the theme configuration I disabled comments and no page shows them.
Furthermore my theme (atahualpa) has not page.php. So I hope the creator of the theme can help.

it’s a misunderstandig.
I use the widget to see upcoming events. The widget is in the sidebar and shows one or more events, depending on the event date. That’s right.
But there are also wordpress-categories (not categories of the widget!). If I select one wordpress-category with many posts (so much that selection results more than one page with these posts) the widget shoes one ore more events only if I select FIRST page of the selected wordpress-category. But if I scroll to the second page, the widget shows me “no upcoming events” or so (I re-translated from german.) Remember: I don’t touch the widget, only scroll category page!
The same happens, if I search for any often appearing word in the blog (for example “in”): This results in many pages with the discovered word. The widget shows events only on the first page of the search results.
I cannot understand the relationship between the posts in the normal wordpress-categories and the events, because I think events are a custom post type within WordPress?

WP-Piwik offers “Piwik Statistiken” including the box “Pages (today)” or if I select another day “Pages (dd.month yyy)”. Sometimes there are a lot of calls of an older page. Maybe I don’t remember the detailed content. At present I have to search the page in the wp-backend / pages in order to look at the content.
But if “pages (today)” would be linked to URLs, one klick on the title would open the corresponding page in the blog.

I hope it is possible to add this feature, because in Piwik the ORLs are listed under actions / pages.

nochmals danke für die schnelle Reaktion, aber es ist verrückt: simple-custom-css installiert und die Anweisungen eingetragen; Ergebnis: keine Reaktion.

Ich mache jetzt erst mal ‘ne Pause und werde mich dann mit dem Theme n?her befassen. Villeicht kann ich die css-Definitionen auslagern. Ich glaube, da gibt es evtl. eine M?glichkeit.

danke für die schnelle Antwort. Die Anweisungen habe ich direkt ins style.css geschrieben, ohne Erfolg.
Dann habe ich das in die Definition der “Widget-Content-Box” eingetragen (Dazu habe ich einen screenshot – wie kann ich ihn Dir schicken/hochladen?) -ebenfalls ohne Ergebnis.
Im Widget-Titel steht jetzt “Teilen” und im Shortcut [shariff].

Wie weiter?
