  • I am having the same issue… my website https://www.offcyclers.com

    suddenly since last week it’s not firing anything and analytics says no information is flowing.

    The Google Tag Manager recording seems to be firing properly…but the analytics says its not receiving any info.

    Any idea why?

    thank you very much for taking the time to actually check, yeah I received the info in analytics! thanks!

    Just in case another person needs help >> what is working for me is:

    -Codeless injection ( No Tweak)
    – insert code: <?php if ( function_exists( ‘gtm4wp_the_gtm_tag’ ) ) { gtm4wp_the_gtm_tag(); } ?> in the <body>

    I dont know which one of the two is working but its how i made it to work.

    If I change to Custom and leave the code it doesnt work.

    Hi Thomas,

    Is there any way to know if I’ve solved the problem? ( I’m using the google tag recorder and now it seems that the tags are correctly in place..but please feel free to check yourself and give me a second thought ( you can even make a fake order if needed be — you wont have to pay as my model is a bit different)— just write TEST TOM in the name if you want.

    Anyways

    So here is what I was doing and what I changed ( just so you know) for the record, I am using WordPress 4.5.3 // Betheme 13.7 and Woocommerce 2.6.2 –

    SO:

    1: INITIALLY I had the GTM code inserted in my <body> section and I had enabled the CODELESS insertion in your plugin. but this wasn’t giving me the information I wanted, and it showed in Google Tag recorder as if I was recording the same information twice. I was still getting that message of “Missing Ecommerce Information” in Analytics.

    2. I looked over some other discussion posts where you mentioned that we should delete the GTM Code ( maybe its something you should mention in the plugin or elsewhere as I feel it wasn’t too clear, just helping out here).
    – so i removed my GTM code from the <Body>, and instead of putting Codeless I put Custom insertion
    – I put the code you mention in your plugin in the <body> section
    This yielded a result where I wasn’t getting any recording from google tag manager. In fact google tag recorder showed there were no tags set, nothing.

    3. So I decided to just try and set “Codeless” while leaving the code in the <body> and for some reason that seems to be picking up the Tags ( OR I THINK IT DOES).

    I sent the “Check again” in analytics so once I get an answer I’ll let you know if it works

    I have just done a test purchase and no data appears in analytics, but that could be because it takes some time (?)

    Still giving a problem…. I updated to 3.3.2 and it seems that it still breaks Visual Composer when its in ADD NEW mode ( page, post, portfolio,etc)… for old posts it does recognize the Visual Composer but for new ones it just doesn’t appear at all.

    any solution!?
