In reply to: Line SpacingHmmm . . . I deactivated all my plugins and then re-activated them. The line spacing seems to have corrected itself by doing that. Go figure.

In reply to: Archives IndexThat isn’t exactly what I am looking for. But I did install it. I am running into the same issue that the page is still blank. I included the correct stub in the config.
When I switched from e107 I was in a similar situation. I had about 1000 posts. I ended up manually entering them into WP. From the looks of your site, you should be able to bang this out in an afternoon.

In reply to: Page2 ProblemThanks. It seems like the Reated articles tweak I added was the culprit. Removing that code brought back the previous entries.
Thanks.

In reply to: Ads Outside ThemeThen how should this be done? I like the effect, but have no idea how to do it.
FWIW, the ads I would like to use are my own ads to direct readers to certain content of mine on other sites.
The theme I am using, Impact, is already full of content and I see no space I want to devote to ads in what I currently have. Therefore, I want to do something like what Jarvis has done and place these ads outside the theme, as it were.
I just don’t know how to even begin going about doing this.

In reply to: Ads Outside ThemeI have been looking at this and have concluded I do not know how to do this.
Can anyone hold my hand through this? I would appreciate the help.

In reply to: Trackback HelpI am still struggling with this. I looked at the Classic theme that is included with WP. I copied from comments.php the following:
<?php comments_rss_link(__('RSS feed for comments on this post.')); ?>
<?php if ( pings_open() ) : ?>
" rel="trackback"><?php _e('TrackBack URI'); ?>
<?php endif; ?>I placed this in the same spot of comments.php of the Impact theme. When I look at a specific post all appears correct. I now have an RSS feed for the comments of the post and a link to the trackback URI.
I then used the trackback URI on a post I have on a test site I have. My expectation was that the a snippet of that test post would display in the comments of the post of my regular site. My test site indicated I had successfully pinged the real site. Yet, nothing seemed to happen. Nothing was added to the comments.
I looked through index.php of the Classic theme and saw nothing about trackbacks to add to Impact’s index.php.
What am I missing?
