Its not what I need. I need a plugin in Media admin to upload from server. I found the one named Add From Server. It work great but we cannot see pictures, only filenames with extension.

So I should mark this topis as resolved.

Now the both plugins Our Services Showcase and Strong Testimonials worked fine together. So I put resolved for this topic.

Having good documentation can save a lot of time to the author and his team.

Here’s an example of a real clear and detail documentation (for the blogBox theme) :

This author saves lot of time because it’s so clear that few people need to ask him questions.

It is written for people like me with little knowledge and experience in website creation. Easy to understand.

In comparison, SO page builder have many more features, but its docs is poorest :

Its why we are here to ask a lot of questions. And its why you spend a lot of hours trying to answer us with smiley. Your time would be more effective to give away your product rather than answer 1000 almost the same questions every day because your documentation is not very clear.

the democratisation of drupal and wordpress since few years its a problem and I think it is part of our frustration. 5 years ago the word “documentation” on a free drupal or wordpress was really “documentation”. But now I understand more about SO Page Builder. Can I suggest you a real doc like :

To do exactly that Page Layout :
1) you should have activated theme X by X
2) you should do these step :
a)
b)
…

And writing inside the docs “warning : if you desactivated SO PB, you will loose your visual content but not the page”.

This is a real doc. But I understand its a free product so you are not abble to code, answer us, writing a real doc, and love a wife and kids, pay the bill, in the same hour like superheroe does.

Look at a page layout of SO page builder. Look the visual (never the same than the demo).

Now click in editor “revert to editor”. BANG another visual content. All your modifications will desapear too.

Whats you see its what you get. NOT in SO page builder…

(But Greg’s very kind, he works very hard to make a business success too, but the 1st think of a software is to help someone in his task. You want to write a txt, use a txt editor and write. Save it and tomorrow it will be the same visual than today. Not the SO Page Builder its fortuity here. No scientifique like code programming is –>?texte color = blue (not in SO PB). Not in that way.

In SO page builder, you have the demo pages layout. You want that but its never like that when you click on it (the basic business principe “what you see is what you get” isn’t respected). Fortuity, hazard, like casino (you think you will win but you always loose).

So you will pass hours to try to do that visual content that you seen on page layout with SO page builder. When its around like that you will try to save the page by clicking Update buttom –>?YOUR WORK !! You think its safe by clicking UPDATE buttom ? Ha ha ha your a dreamer –>

You are going to make you a coffee before starting another page. But the f***ing cat’s paw or a fantom press “revert to editor” or “deactivate the plugin”.

No joke its real. After, no damn way to retrieve your f*** work. You hurry press up to return back in Page builder with tears in eyes. No way your visual content desapear in hell for eternity.

Imagine if it’s your fourteen child who have created that page after 5 hours of work, for the birthday of her sick eldest sister of 16 years old, to create a donations website so she could afford healthcare in a hospital.

So you or your child, should try restarting from crach (until the next time) or try another plugins MORE SAFE and more professional than SO page builder…

Because a red section is not red in txt editor or in SO page builder. A blue section too, like the one in Simple Business page layout. If you press revert to editor, you will loose the blue visual content and your page will change visually. Yeurk.

Enough loosing my time here. If Greg <strong>undestand </strong> something here, I will (maybe) give him 4 stars. I do not want to give him a poorly 1 star for now. I do not want to be guided by frustration. Im waiting tomorrow and then I will evaluate that plugin in wordpres dot org.

there is no way to save a page create with SO page builder.

there is no way to fund the visual content create with SO page builder when a cat walking on you desk click “deactivate plugin” or “revert to editor”.

Loosing your work, hours of work, for eternity. Byebye. If your using SO page builder, your slave of SO page builder. And you must pray the cat to dont press the keyboard against SO page builder when your going to make a coffee.

The only 1 utility of a page builder is for the creation of a visual content by helping the creator for doing something. Now that SO page builder dont help you because you cannot save something. You will loose all if you want to add something like a shortcode in editor. Slave.

I really dont understand why its not the same code with or without SI page builder ? I mean, if I put a section in red on a white page, why that section come white if I press “revert to editor” or if I deactivated the SO page builder ? Why basic think, visual content, created with that plugin, desapear in txt editor ?

Why the basic think like visual color change when you pass from page builder to texte editor ? All your page will be broken. You dont need to desactivate plugin. Just click on Revert to editor, before giving your gift to a friend (website) because you want to keep secret all the creation behind ?

Site origin page builder –> Garbage for me. Its useless if its not your own website with page builder activated for eternity (slave of it).

But he forgot the most important think with page builder :

People using it want the same visual of a page when deactivate page builder when giving a website for the child, for a cousin, for clients.

I should try another Page Builder because Greg cannot satisfied me in 4 days before the birthday of the person. I want to gave her a website without 500 plugins inside. I want to give her a safe website to keep the same visual content. For now, if she click by mystake Revert to editor, if the cat walk and click too, there is no way to come back what Ive done before. I cannot save it in backup today.

Its not the same html and CSS in site origine page builder, than everywhere else on Earth. I dont know why.

Maybe we should pay to have the same visual with code in page builder and code in life ?

I try 2 themes on 2 subdomains with so page builder. First is Panache, second one is Snapshot (with plus plugin) from Site Origin. In both case, when Im using a full width plugin, it doesn’t work really full width. Its like the are a right invisible sidebar. In Panache we can take a real full width without any sidebar but the problem persist.

The only way : edit row / Layout / Row Layout / Full Width Stretch. Its a real Full Width now. But without any margin, very afraid. For a computer screen you should put 5% padding around each row and widget. Its poor when on cellphone.

Now, if you click by mystake “revert to texte editor”, your page will be broke for eternity. Then you click on Page builder in editor to come back at your correct page. Damn all your modification, hours of work, are disapear for eternity. You should restart from scratch…

Its like the CSS and other html does’nt work anymore without page builder plugin. I dont understand why ? Its suppose to be the same code ? Why the html and CSS isn’t the same in page builder or in editor ? Why the text size and color change ?

Done 3 times. Reboot computer too. What you see in print screen is the same.

Maybe it comes from PHP 7 ?

Ive try a lot of plugins like 200 its the first time I got this. Im seeking another way to do what I need like using Better Font Awesome but I dont know if it will be responsive. I let you know tomorrow when it’s done.
