In reply to: [Gutenberg] Elementor is so much more intuitiveElementor is a page builder, Gutenberg is an editor. They are not the same.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Makes me hate WordPressWeird, I have experienced none of those problems, and I have tested Gutenberg kind of extensively – even wrote a 5,000+ word post with no issues at all. Perhaps you’re experiencing a bad combination of Chrome add-ons and WP plugins?

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Some pages don’t loadIt’s been hard to find this…at my site, it seems that the problem lies on JS optimization and posts that use Shortcodes Ultimate…but ShortCodes Ultimate uses a ton of JS files…any ideas?

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Great for customers, doubtful for developersYou can insert as many H1 as you want, you’ll find the H1 level on the sidebar (when a subheading is selected).

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Promising,Excellent review! just one thing; since 4 or 4.1 (can’t remember which one), Columns block isn’t marked as beta.
It is worth remarking that more than being perfect, we’ve just learn to get used to TinyMCE’s shortcomings. We have used it for so long that its defects have become pretty invisible, but they are there.
And you point something that I have been saying from the beginning: like or dislike Gutenberg, your reviews help. Saying “its crap” or “suckz!” don’t.
Again, very good review.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Some pages don’t loadI’ve been playing with the options and it’s the JS optimization, as soon as it’s active some pages freeze. Right now it’s disabled.

In reply to: Changes Not Appearing after Cache clearedCaching plugins can be tricky, and W3 Total Cache is the trickiest…don’t get me wrong, is a wonderful cache plugin, but it can be hard to get it working right. WP Super Cache is pretty good and much simpler than W3TC. I use it along with Autoptimize with very good results. But honestly, it’s difficult to say this or that plugin is going to work for you. It has to do with hosting provider and several other things to consider. You have to try the best performers and do a lot of testing. There’s not an easy road with caching… ??
Best of luck with your site!
P.S. Well-meant and free advice: before caching, work on image optimization; according to GTMetrix, your front page is 8.35MB, that’s more than 4 times the maximum recommended size.

In reply to: Changes Not Appearing after Cache cleared> Also I don’t remember ever installing that plugin.
Well, that’s weird. Are you the only one admin on that site?
You could check your wp-config.php and look for the line
define('WP_CACHE', true);
Change true to false and try again. Also clean your browser cache.
