In reply to: Best WYSIWYG editor (probably asked before, but didn’t become any wiser)WYSIWYG editor is a must, imo. For exactly the reason that alain gave above. The typical blogger/forumer/etc know very little, if any, html. So giving them the capabilities to color a word, change the font size, etc is essential.
ev3rywh3re’s editor still doesn’t allow me to click and change the font size, but at least the colors are there.
webdressing, once you activate the plugin, then go tweak the settings, there’s an additional little box that shows up on the text editor that you have to click on. When you do, it gives you an additional editing bar with several functions.

In reply to: Visitor Countoh no no, I didn’t mean just for today. I meant a counter that gives you a count of visits to your blog, and nothing else. no other stats. Only visits.
If I used something like sitemeter’s counters, which template would I place it in? Main index template? or perhaps a text widget?

In reply to: Best WYSIWYG editor (probably asked before, but didn’t become any wiser)WebDressing – I didn’t see anything there in the way of a plugin for a blog?
Or are they all plugins for WP blogs and I missed that?

In reply to: Best WYSIWYG editor (probably asked before, but didn’t become any wiser)I don’t really care so much about alot of bells and whistles, as much as I do about being able to manipulate my text, i.e. change color, font size, etc.
So, I’ll give it a whirl, thanks!

In reply to: Best WYSIWYG editor (probably asked before, but didn’t become any wiser)It looks like you have to install another plugin to get this one to work.

In reply to: Custom smilies?I installed that plugin and love it! I did delete the default smilies and uploaded my own. You have to give each of them an individual code such as ?? for a wink smilie, or ?? for a sad smilie. And you have to remember what the code is for each one. ( gave them a word so that I could remember what the code was when I wanted to use it. Like a sad smilie, instead of using ?? I used ??
And a smilie with the tongue sticking out, I used :p: , smiling smilie is ??Works like a charm!

In reply to: Best WYSIWYG editor (probably asked before, but didn’t become any wiser)I’d just like to be able to simply change text color and size. I haven’t found anything (that actually works) that does this. ??

In reply to: How to make a post sticky?Unfortunaely the Adhesive plugin causes the Plugins to disappear in the dashboard. I, and many others, have had to delete that plugin to be able to view our other plugins.
Isn’t there another one?
