OK. So I really have to do all this just to change the color of the UM form’s tect, wven though there is a customizer option that doesn’t include all the form elements? I feel like this is a bug.
Additional css
.um input[type="submit"].um-button, .um input[type="submit"].um-button:focus, .um a.um-button, .um a.um-button.um-disabled:hover, .um a.um-button.um-disabled:focus, .um a.um-button.um-disabled:active { background: #333;} .um-meta { background-color: #ffffff; color: #000000; } .um-field-label {color: #ffffff !important;} label.um-field-checkbox-option {color: #ffffff !important;}
Yes I did, but the styles I’m trying to override ALSO have !important for some reason that still makes no sense to me….
It appears the grey text is coming from UM’s stylesheet which it has marked as important so I can’t override it using additional css, I have to make a child plugin? Why would UM do that?
https://pangaeaproductions360.com/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-member/assets/css/um-styles.css?ver=2.5.3Yes I have, and have long had that code as additional css on the site (which again, why is this not a universal setting?)
In any case it is not helpful for *text* and *checkbox* text colors which are still grey.
Same. Had to roll back two versions.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] 404 on recurring event links (again)`Just to confirm, you said that flushing the permalinks completely fixed the issue on your end, right?
Can you also tell me if:
This happened as a result of an auto-update or a manual one?
There is any form of caching active on your site?`Yes flushing alone fixed it this time, though the patch is still installed and active.
-automatic, which I have disabled now
-Wp-optimize installed to manually clean tables etc but page caching is not active and has not been.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Latest podcast season not in RSSIt worked before.
The change happened sometime between the end of S3 (May 2022) and beginning of S4 (a few days ago), I became aware of it yesterday when my client asked why the latest episode hadn’t been added to itunes etc. I determined that was because it was not added to the rss feed.
I killed the season categories altogether, that’s why those feeds no longer exist.
That message of “A new Podcast will create an entirely new Podcast Feed.
Only do this if you want to have multiple shows within your WordPress site.
If you just want to organize episodes within the same feed we suggest using Tags.” is new to me – if that had been there originally I wouldn’t have made categories int the first place.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Latest podcast season not in RSSI just removed all the podcasts categories from all and that added it. It did not appear until I did that.
I am using the free version, at present. Thinking about buying the paid version.
Which settings do you need me to screenshot?
Yes, those buttons.
I need to log in with my client’s user account to change that setting for them so they see the buttons too?
OK, so the free version can only have one user?
The missing buttons are on the Add/Edit post page, the ones that allow me to send the post to social media.
We are considering paying for the Smart version, but i want my client to be able to use it whereas I will install it and set it up, so is that going to be a problem?
That fixed it – thank you!
As to the profile photos in the directory specified above, the ones uploaded since I updated the add-on, are not called profile_photo with the thumb and 500×500 versions, but have different names or in two cases, have a “temp” extension in the name.
From 4/19 and earlier, they are profile-photo.jpg and from 4/19 later in the day on (the day I did the update), they are named more like /wp-content/uploads/ultimatemember/406/profile_7866c1ca_photo_123abc_temp.jpg
One is named /404/profile_abc123_photo.jpeg and has no thumbnail or 500×500 in the folder like the earlier ones do.
In the areas where the profile photo normally shows (on card, at top of member detail), there is only default_avatar.jpg. I added the profile photo manually and it appears below, for the new folks.
