Thanks so much for getting back to me Rick. Weirdly the spinning wheel issue persisted after both disabling JS minification as well as deactivating the entire SG Optimizer plugin.

Do you know how I might find out what else could be at fault?

Ah thanks Matheus. Initially my attempts to uninstall would also timeout in the same way. Eventually though I was able to export the missing tables from an old installation and import them to my current one. This didn’t fix the issue itself, but it did allow me to successfully uninstall and delete all data, and my fresh installation is now working correctly.

Thanks again Juan. Again though, the task of attempting to manually replicate the circumstances that cause the issue don’t feel feasible with what you’ve suggested. I could deactivate Stripe and put through 20 or 30 test transactions that could all appear to complete correctly, but statistically this might not be a large enough sample to catch whatever is causing the issue (which affects, I’d estimate, 5% of orders).

Also to clarify, I’d agree that a conflict test would be necessary if all received orders were affected, but since it’s only a small percentage that does suggest something other than a plugin conflict I think?

Hi Juan, thanks for getting back to me. However, since the action that caused the problem is a customer placing an order, I’m not sure how I can follow your troubleshooting advice. Presumably since this issue only affects a very small number of orders received, there will be another way to consider what might be causing the issue intermittently?
