    Thank you Steve.

I disabled all plug-ins and immediately it went to update.

    I removed the plug-in troublemaker.

    Everything’s now up and updated.

    Many thanks,
    Oks

    Hi,

I cheched and fix the page’s settings and restrictions and now it works fine.

    Thank you for your support

My recommendation is to NEVER update on live (production) environment before testing it first on a separate identical test one.

I always fire up a test environment, which is a copy of the live one (production), and do all my updates/ new releases there first and check if everything works fine.

I also always backup everything in production before releasing new stuff or updating anything.
If something goes wrong you always need to have a way to rollback to the state is was before.

For versioning and compare purpose you may also want to keep all developments under a source control software or something like that.

That will be my recommendations, so no need to panic when things go sideways in production.

Thank you rdell for your contribution and feedback to my issue.

I don’t have access to the host yet. I have a control freak admin who is playing the gate owner instead of gate keeper. He’s a not very cooperative.

I’m working on now with important people to gain access to the host.
Once I’ll get access to my host I’ll be back to you with more info.

Thank you so much for helping and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I have a similar problem ovli different error message and I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong.

I tried to post a new tread but did not pass … looks that is not accepting new posts on this suject

Someone has reccomended All-in-One WP Migration plugin and I put a lot of fate on thi one to work.

I did installed “All-in-One WP Migration V4.15” on both hosts: my localhost (where I’m developing) and on our web host environment. My web host environment had a fresh empty WordPress 4.4 copy installed and connected to an empty database.

I have followed all the steps from the plugin tutorials and created an export .wpress file and find/replace the URL when creating (Export) the file with the plugin.

When Import-ing the file from the host side, after the .wpress files has been successfully uploaded, the process jams at 56% when loading the archive content on the host server.

The only error that I have is by accessing the website URL from the browser:

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/spartan2/public_html/wp-content/themes/customizr/inc/init.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/spartan2/public_html/wp-content/themes/customizr/functions.php on line 47

That’s all the error info that I have.

All I know that there is a difference in versions from my developing hosting environment and the web hosting one. Here is the difference:

Localhost environment: (development local PC on Win7 – wamp server 2.5)
    -Apache Version 2.4.9
    -PHP Version 5.5.12
    -MySQL Version 5.6.17
    -WordPress 4.4

    Web hosting environment :
    -Apache Version 2.4.16
    -PHP Version 5.4.45
    -MySQL Version 5.5.45-cll
    -WordPress 4.4

Any idea why this process cannot sucessfuly finish?

Thank you so much for feedback.

    Many thanks rdell.

All-in-One WP Migration supports up to WP 4.3 and I have WP 4.4 … will play later with that.

Any other suggetion about my initial request? Any help will be great.

I did backup (structure and data without truncate stmt) and restore my database on the remote host.
I edited the URL links in my .sql file before executing against the database.
I did upload entire wp folder structure with subfolders and files.
    I did edit wp_config.php

Customizr went back in demo mode and all settings and pages settings are gone.

Thank you so much for feedback.

I had the same issue with Customizr conflicting with My Calendar plugin.

I had to go an modify the My Calendar CSS to reinforce the color upon Customizr.

You may want to go in Customizr and adapt it to you plugin.
