Hi @gdandrija ,
thanks for your feedback. I cannot get this behavior to go away by temporary disabling plugins and css (but I may have failed to properly do so).
I installed CoBlocks on a different site and created a test page. The same problem occurs in Chrome but not Firefox and not Edge. This site has a different set of plugins and a (very) different template (which may have been developed based on WP BOOTSTARTER theme by a programmer some time ago).

.What do you see? Does it render normal in your Chrome browser? Then we are looking at some strange dependency of the styles and the defaults of the browser. The fact that Firefox and Edge (which I believe have different defaults for some styles) renders just fine without the workaround seems to point in the same direction.

seems to be a CoBlocks issue … even though the Posts block was inserted from the “Layout Element” section.

In reply to: why does Blogs Post block limit number of columns?I go to the (+) of the empty block, go to “Layout Elements” section and then “Posts” … so I was guessing this must be a build-in block. However, the same behavior happens for for the “Posts” Element in the “CoBlocks” section I have installed. And when I deactivate CoBlocks, the Post-block from the “Layout ELements”section stops to work as well. So I guess you are right and I should tell Godaddy.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
