I’m not exactly sure what happens but I think some part of Local Lightning (my local dev environment) crashes or gets really really slow.

local-lightning.log, nginx/error.log, php/php-fpm.log, wp-content/debug.log are all empty (after running)

media-cleaner.log gives only:

I changed media buffer, post buffer, analysis buffer, delay to the values you suggested here: https://meowapps.com/media-cleaner-debug-issues/ But it still gets stuck. I also disabled all my plugins (except media cleaner). No change.

I’m clueless but willing to try to find the problem.

Unfortunately I cannot see anything in the log now.

I changed to Storefront (withouth disabling any plugins) and it worked as expected. I’ll have to contact Divi then I guess?

I think this was a web browser caching issue. Seems to have worked itself out.

Could the problem be that Jetpacks lazy load conflicts with Photo grids?

I disabled Jetpack and enabled Photo grid and now it looks fine on my first try. I’ll try it more the next couple of days and write back.

I sent an email on your website where I tried to attach screenshots etc. but didn’t get any response? Have you seen it?

After much fiddling I disabled photon and that solved the problem.

It also solved one other issue I had with images not loading at ful size. Have been using photon for a long time so I hope is’s being worked out.

I’ve been testing this out for a while now and replaced the image with a smaller one. The total MB for the whole URL is about 1MB. But still the image doesn’t load as it should.

One interesting thing is that it seems to work fine with Safari and Firefox but not with Chrome. I’ve tested it both in Chrome when I’m logged in and in the Private browsing window. The image takes forever or doesn’t load.

I’m on a mac if that can make any difference.

Any ideas?
