Our widget is possibly the lightest chat widget available in the market; it weighs around 250 kb(!) – our chat downloads approx 1/3-1/2 less code, compared to other live chat services. It’s extremely unlikely for our chat to have any negative effect on your website loading speed or its performance in general, since it loads asynchronously (it doesn’t interfere with your site’s content).
The crucial resources aren’t impacted, and the chat goes in its own pace, instead of waiting for content to be loaded first, or interfering with it. The problem with loading speed tools is that when it evaluates a website, its advice can at times not be totally accurate. Optimize image warning can absolutely be adhered to, but render-blocking JavaScript, minify JavaScript and minify HTML selectors can be considered recommendations. These factors do not impair the speed and functionality of your site significantly in practice. When Google Pagespeed insights see ‘script’ in your code, they let you know that this ‘script’ makes you download some additional content.
ervices that measure the loading speed (Pingdom, GtMetrix, Google Pagespeed, etc.) of the website are not checking if a content loads asynchronously (after the website is fully loaded), or not. Please accept apologies for the delay in getting back to you. The operating hours setup always required having the panel opened or an app running to ensure proper functioning. I’m afraid without these requirements met, the status will not be updated according to the settings.

Upon creating a project, a 7-day trial period starts that allows you to test the premium features of Tidio. After it ends, you can decide whether to purchase a paid plan or use a free option. You will not be forced to make a purchase at any time using Tidio.
The chat page feature you mention is indeed a paid one. It’s a standalone page with the chat widget, hosted on our servers. With the details shared from your end we can assure you we understand your needs behind the request and we find your feedback valuable. We have already passed it to our developers.
They confirmed, that for most users having the widget preconnect enabled is better and by default should stay like that.
We may consider enabling the option in the checkbox to have preconnect disabled, but we are not able to promise introducing it. Your understanding will be appreciated.
