But what is the common denominator that’s causing this. running the non-critical windows updates now after which will try updating flash, and disabling avast as well, really need to narrow down what is causing this problem.

IE. if it turned out that WP3.3.1 had issues with all XP machines would it be a wp or windows conflict?

But what kind of issue with my home PC could cause this? it works fine with previous versions of WordPress.

The big issue is not necessarily that it is a problem with my PC, judging by the number of people who have had a similar problem, but an incompatibility with WordPress and a certain PC configuration. Could be anything from Avast antivirus to some weird browser setting.

Interesting addition on my home computer the vSlider on the homepage doesnt show (https://www.seochemist.com) and the pop out ‘follow me’ button doesn’t work, or at least they didn’t last time I checked. Its working fine on my work computer though.

Interestingly enough, these are mostly sites with low levels of plugins. two or three max. I had the same issue with a plugin heavy site, and all it took to fix it was disabling a plugin that worked with s2member pro to make level shortcodes accessible via the TinyMCE toolbars.

I’m having the same issue on some sites, not others. Custom themes make me unwilling to do full do overs here.

I had the same problem on my article directory This is Freelance and a few other smaller sites. Even though I had it on invite only I still had people posting duplicate content every other day.

I did however find a premium plugin that does the job at https://www.nicheplugin.com/plugins/duplicate-content-filter/ It does cost $50, and you have to pay Yahoo API fees ($0.40 per thousand searches) which is pretty cheap. It has however saved me an hour every morning checking posts on every multi author blog I own!

No tiny MCE plugings, occuring on Firefox 3 & 4 as well as chrome, occuring on several wordpress installs including vanilla, sorry for the long response time, was in Mexico!

Has there been any update on this? I really want to get my forum back up, but it is impossible until this issue has been resolved.

Thats probably it, I do use another Google Analytics plugin, called Onsite Google Analytics. This displays Google Data on-page.
