    Hello Esmi,

I can confirm that I did rename my old theme’s folder. It used to be named ub_enormous and I renamed it to theme-old.

If you notice… with my plug-in folder now named plugins.hold and old theme renamed the site doesn’t come up at all (which is the way it is currently). If I put back the old names it appears as normal.

    Hello Trionic,

I deleted all my cookies for my URL and restarted but I still have the problem. I never heard of memecached before.

Thanks again. Please let me know what you think I should do next. Appreciated!

    Hi Esmi,

When I edit my WP-Config file to debug mode I do have 10 errors. I’m really just a blogger so I don’t understand what I am looking at mostly. I see somethings that have to do with plug-ins so I assume when I deactivate them they should no longer be causing the issue. Would you mind looking quickly at these and see if there is something there you think is the problem:

    Hello esmi,

I followed your instructions exactly… all 4 steps. Still the same thing though. Do you have any other ideas? I can’t figure out what’s wrong. Thanks for any advice.

Thank you for your quick reply. I am trying your recommendations. I will report back.

I am receiving the same exact errors. I do really like the plug-in. I hope this will be fixed. If it’s something else (conflict) and anyone knows please join in this conversation.

    Thank you.

    Hi Dan,

You were correct! There was a plug-in called “WP Security Scan” that was causing the problem. In fact is was causing trouble somewhere else on my site too. I appreciate your help. I look forward to Collections being added as an option. I donated something to you (from @thingstocome)

Hi MichaelH. Thanks for that tip. So if I install on my local computer (Mac) that means I create the site offline? No uploading? That would be fantastic… then just upload when done? ok… off to reading…

I Rene. I didn’t see your message until now. I like 2.5 very much. Upgrade without hesitation.

    Hi Everyone,

Im glad no one responded because I was able to fix my problems. I reinstalled 2.5.1, cleared all caches including inside the content folder, installed the very latest version of flash and switched from Firefox to Safari.

Now it works… strange but true.

    Hi Everyone,

I fixed the problem for myself. Here’s what worked for me.

    1. Reinstalled 2.5.1
    2. Cleared Cache in browser and in Content folder
    3. Installed the latest version of Flash (this I believe did the most to fix it even though I was already using a pretty new version).
    4. Switched from Firefox to Safari

I will log in again after some posts and days go by and report if it is still working flawlessly.

Im very pleased at the moment!

Im having the same problem. Re-installed 2.5.1, emptied Cache, etc…
