I think you are right that the problem is with Elementor.

Is there a way to get the query ID, so I can build the list from your query?
Elementor gives me the option to give him the filter or query id, so I can directly get the posts.

We awant to use the “use with native search” option.

We created a template and the setting in Elementor is “related search”, this works with the native search and pagination is available then.

I activate the setting for “use with native search” in WP Search, and then I have different results (so it is working with Algolia) but no pagination anymore.

We just tried it, and it is not working with WP Rocket Caching.
If you are interested to get it working, I like to help.

I have the same Problem but thought it was a JavaScript issue, I will try out to change the PHP Version.
It would be great if you could investigate more.

I assume the best way would then be to use the section to recreate the Block and then replace the others for that.

As for the Decision Process:
I do understand that some things have to be changed and so to depreciate the Block was the best way to do. But I would like to see the alternative to it – like if you remove something then build a template for it or show us how to replace it in an easy way.

As for Blocks in general – the biggest problem, also long term, I see with replacing them. In my instance, I don’t have a lot of them but if you would replace sections one day it could become potentially hard to migrate.

to be honest, that’s why I used otter blocks – because TI is usually supporting its plugins and that’s Important with the Gutenberg Blocks for the future…
Don’t want to migrate 200+ Articles one day because certain blocks were changed.
