I decided to check with my themes vendor prior to using the Health Check plug in. It looks like it is a theme problem. I use One Press from Fame Themes. Here is their reply:

I’m sorry about this experience, it’s a theme issue and it’ going to be fixed in the next update. At the moment, you can remove the code

in the file /wp-content/themes/onepress/editor-style.css line 7, 28. Then try to edit the posts/pages again.

Just wanted to let everyone know in case there are other Fame Theme customers. And also the fact these problems are not necessarily WordPress issues. Problems can be related to theme issues as WP is updated. Thanks for your prompt reply, Joy. Paul…

I am having the same problem and I have seen numerous posts having the same problem. It is almost impossible to edit posts. I also do not see any work-arounds. What good does it do to to change the eiting core and provide a plug in to help people make the transition, but the plugin does not work.

In the past I have loved WordPress because of it intuitive and easy to use interface. However, it looks like WP is leaving these advantages behind in the name of “progress.”
