ok, i thought there might be another text box or something that could be added, maybe a plugin.

but surely that cant be right that category page titles have to be limited to two words ?

i think you need to re-read it again.

“You can’t have 5-6 keywords in the link text,”
i never said this – i said the opposite

an example of what i said
more than just one or two keywords that i will only be able to fit in the link text

    )”
    &
but there physically is’nt space to put more than one or two words in the link text for the categories

i literally said the opposite to what you said (????????)

and I DID NOT SAY THIS
“You can’t have 5-6 keywords in the link text, but only have one or two of them showing”

    ???????????????????????????????????????????

“Use real and relevant keywords that describe the page that you’re going to”
so if its about cars – then have “cars” in the link text

    ?

i think that’s what i said at the beginning ?

    AND
“I highly doubt that you’ll have a page that’s about ‘cars autos trucks motorcycles’ all together”

ITS NOT A “PAGE” – ITS A “CATEGORY”
    – IT SAYS SO
“in the link text for the categories

and yes – the category is about – guess what

      cars autos trucks motorcycles

subcategory will be “cars” but that wont have a link from the main url.

im sorry but you have completely misrepresented what i said.

Thank you for your response catacaustic,

    but,
“By removing the key words that would be appearing in the links”
im not removing keywords that will be appearing in the links, im ADDING more keywords to the page title, the page title is the most important part of a website as far as seo is concerned. so im trying to get as many keywords in there as possible (more than just one or two keywords that i will only be able to fit in the link text )

if i only have one or two keywords in the category page title – then ive lost out on the other keywords that arent in there
but there physically is’nt space to put more than one or two words in the link text for the categories – the same with most other websites.

    thanks

it was so simple but i thought it was the browser i was using or something, it was all over the place.

    DID IT !!!

i did it just as you said and it worked perfectly, i cant thank you enough from the heart of my bottom.

    your amazing.

you dont know how to get the front page looking normal do you ???

everything that should be on the side is at the bottom,
search box, categories, everything, ive used wordpress before, and you can either use the widgets to put these at the top etc, or they just come out at the top, or sides without doing anything.

    but thanks anyway.
