This page is the first result if you Google “wordpress rss links widget missing”. Therefore I wanted to post the resolution here for others with the same query.
The “RSS Links” widget is only present on WordPress.COM blogs. If you have your own WordPress installation downloaded from www.ads-software.com, then you will not have the “RSS Links” widget.
It appears esmi failed to recognise that jefflostroff was talking about the wordpress.com “RSS Links” widget and not the “RSS” widget (with description ‘Entries from any RSS or Atom feed’) which is one of the default widgets.
If you want the same functionality, you’ll have to install a plugin.
