So I’m planning to use the theme for another client as well but she is concerned about the fact that the theme is free – although there is of course the premium version we’d probably get also. Her concern is that since the theme is free there might be issues with security in the future, or issues with the theme not being updated a few months, 6 months, 2 years from now. Is this a valid concern – ie do you see yourself/your team giving up updating this theme at some point? I’d love to hear what your vision for the theme is before we make the decision. Thank you very much!

Figured it out!

An audio player plugin that plays files from FTP directory caused this. I contacted the plugin author who gave me a fixed version of the plugin. Problem solved.

Senff, that’s not the issue, like I said originally – organizing by ‘Date’ in the dashboard doesn’t work either…

I’d be afraid to switch the theme honestly.. What if I lose some settings when I do.. Sorry!

Ok, I figured this out – it’s as simple as making a custom menu, an option you find under “Appearance”.

(in case anyone’s taking a look at this, I’ll just let you know that I’m going to try out different themes so my link may not be most helpful to you, but my question is still on!)

After I upload the WP files to my host, how do I access WP and make posts, choose a theme, etc.? Sorry for my ignorance. Thanks for your help!
