In reply to: [One User Avatar | User Profile Picture] Great plugin, best support.Thank you! I know this plugin is used in conjunction with membership plugins a lot, so I’m trying to fix any issues that are reported with such plugins as soon as possible.
The reason for this is because Ultimate Member has its own custom avatar functionality and it is overriding the default ones, only it does it later so it overrides the ones from One User Avatar too.
I have added an option to replace Ultimate Member’s avatars functionality with One User Avatar. If you update to v2.3.6 you should see the option under Avatars -> Settings.
Please note, however, that once you activate this option any functionality related to avatars from the Ultimate Member plugin will stop working.

In reply to: [One User Avatar | User Profile Picture] Wonderful PluginI am interested in fixing any conflicts you have come across. Can you please provide more details about your setup? How have the images that were resized been created and what are they supposed to look like? Does this behavior occur in combination with another specific plugin? A link would be very helpful. Thanks.

In reply to: [One User Avatar | User Profile Picture] WP User Avatar Rides Again!Thank you for this review. An important detail to remember when deleting WP User Avatar is to not do it through the WordPress admin interface because doing so would remove all your existing avatars and settings. Instead, delete it manually using FTP. The plugin has an uninstall script that gets run when the delete command is issued via admin and it deletes all its traces from the database without warning, which is what causes this behavior.
I have tested this scenario on a clean install with just the plugin activated and I couldn’t reproduce the issue. However, this behavior could be caused by another plugin that is enqueueing the media uploader on the same page. To prevent this, I have added an option to always use the browser file uploader to upload avatars. If you update the plugin you should see the new option under Avatars -> Settings. When checked, the avatar upload shortcode should use the file uploader instead of the WP media uploader and the error should no longer appear.

In reply to: [One User Avatar | User Profile Picture] Avatar shortcode and MemberPressNow I understand what you’re trying to do. You need to specify the
user="current"
parameter if you want it to display the logged in user’s avatar.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [One User Avatar | User Profile Picture] Avatar shortcode and MemberPressI have logged into the website you linked and both avatars display correctly for me.
Hi opicron. The developers of ProfilePress are not involved in the maintenance of this plugin. You have probably seen the original authors of WP User Avatar listed under contributors. That is because when forking open source code the original developers still maintain authorship of the original code, which includes ProfilePress, and it is common courtesy to list them under contributors. Sorry about the misunderstanding. Open source copyright can be confusing, especially when forking projects.
