Ok seems that all of a sudden I can post video again. However after doing some reading, Am I to understand that AUTHORS cannot post video? If this is the case, it is rather lame. Why have authors? video is content. Authors post content. Anyway around this? I do NOT want to have to add content for all my authors. And I shouldn’t have to give them all admin access.

This seems to be global….I just tried to post a video and nothing. Appears to be a video specific issue.

Oh one other thing. Do I need to have info on the height of the bg? You say 1200 in width. Just play with that dimension?

Christine you are a busy girl lol. The one piece of info i needed (how big should the bg be). Now once I load that bg, there are controls via the cp (dashboard) that allow me to adjust the positioning? I don’t remember seeing these controls. Are they only present once a bg has been loaded? Thanks for all you do Christine. I really appreciate it. Once I get this and my author’s pages (bios) done. My site will be set and then I will only have to worry about adding readable content. You are the bomb.

How is that possible. Thank-you. Yes I installed it. It appeared not to be working. Deactivated all plugins and loaded it solo. It was fine. Reloaded all plugins one by one. Everything seems fine. How is that possible? O well…Thanks again Christine.

found it lol my bad…i should sleep more.

yeah…I dragged it into the menubar area but it puts it directly underneath the menubar and to the left

I’m in the functions.php file now looking around…looks like i can enable social icons there may have to add code for the search bar…dunno.

hmmm that makes no difference. If I cant use vids from the server, this is all for not. Linking would be fine if videos were NEVER taken down. But they are and I am continuously searching for them. One of the main reasons I bought a domain and hosting package. This sucks.

Deactivated all plugins and got nothing new. All works fine when I point to youtube. However when I point to my uploaded files, the video (mp4) appears zoomed in so you cant see whats going on in video. Its got me.
