This has been solved.

The problem was indeed with Varnish. This is what my support told me in this regard (for your future reference):

“The problem was within the Apache configuration for Varnish.”

Thank you again for all your help. Great plugin here and I look forward to using it without any more hiccups!

Instead of trying to edit it, which I am a novice at, I simply deactivated that plugin and it did not help. I had been using that before JetPress was ever installed, BTW, just to clear that up.

As a side note, I’ve also tried deactivating JetPress to see if that would fix the issue, and it doesn’t. So I’m really not sure what happened here.

Tried deactivating all of those other plugins and nothing changed. The IP thing changed after JetPack was added and it is not only for new comments but it erased (or is hiding) the IPs for every previous comment, too.

(Ones I tried disabling include: Akismet, Captcha)

On the above post…the first question is referring to “Google AdSense ID” and the second question to “Google AdSense Channel”

I also do not understand exactly what to do here.

For the ID field, do I (1) write ca-mb-pub-NUMBER, (2) just write the NUMBER or (3) write pub-NUMBER.

For the second field, I have no clue what to put in. I do have a channel ID NUMBER but it does not have pub- as part of the string, at least not that I can find.

Please assist.

Droid users with the 2.2 software are having the scrolling problem. I understand you guys may not be able to test it yourselves…but I am getting MULTIPLE complaints about it…so it is not just one or two people.

Not angry or anything, just trying to alert you and hoping it can be fixed…

Akismet always had him as a non-spammer. But it was my mistake of marking him as spam that started this chain reaction. I’ve already “not spam” marked his posts 10-12 times and it is not catching up. Any further advice?

Are you using padding and alignment? Here is the html I use every time I post a picture:

*img style=”float: left; padding: 5px 5px 0px 0px” src=”https://imageurl.com” /*

(replace * with < and >)

the float direction is where you want it aligned = left, right

the padding order is top – right – bottom – left.

So for a left-aligned picture, you would padd the top (if needed) and right, for a right-aligned picture you would pad the top (if needed) and right

Yes, it is self-hosted. I just have no idea what could be causing this issue.

Try WP-Table Reloaded plug-in – works for me every time and is not clunky.
