Hi Gerald,
Only when I use the X-REAL-IP do I see my IP address. All other option are detected as the hosting IP address in the States.
MichelleHi Gerald,
I see today that I get a critical error with Wordfence because the IP detection setting is not set to REMOTE_ADD. Is this something I need to be worried about?
Thanks,
MichelleHi Gerald,
It seems to be logging the IPs correctly. So we’ll consider this resolved and I’ll continue to monitor for any further hiccups.
Thanks!
MichelleIs there anything further on this? I’m currently trying to remain logged in to tie up the IP address so people can access the website without being blocked. I’d rather do that then turn Wordfence off so I can continue to monitor login attempt activities.
Thanks.Thanks, Gerald.
I’ve sent the diagnostics on to you.
MichelleI’m glad I found this thread because I have the same problem with a client site using Shaw Hosting. So frustrating and will wait for a change. At least it’s a relief knowing what’s going on.
That did seem to make a difference. And another test worked as well. So thanks for your patience as I sorted this out. So relieved.
This was set to ‘Yes’. To test I created an event that went from 2 days ago until this Friday from 9am-4pm. When I publish nothing is showing in the widget or the event list page.
What do you do if it’s an events list? I’m using the Events widget to highlight the next few upcoming events in the sidebar as well as the complete list on the Events page, however events that span multiple days stop showing after the start of the event. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
