In reply to: [Playbuzz] Incompability with WP 5.3 and Classic Editor PluginHello,
Update: The proposed jQuery-focused fixes above intended for the playbuzz-tinymce.js file did not work for us at this time. I updated the file, but the indicated code was not found on lines 345 and 353, instead the respective code was recently found on Lines 420 and 431. In each instance, we replaced “$” with “jQuery”. Then uploaded the file, which did not seem to make a difference, and then we reloaded the website from the server, which again did not seem to make a difference.
So, currently we can not paste into the WP 5.3.2 Classic WYSIWYG editor, but we can past into the Classic View Code editor and other new WP blocks.

In reply to: [Playbuzz] Incompability with WP 5.3 and Classic Editor PluginHello,
We are experiencing the same copy with WP 5.3.2 and paste problem when the Playbuzz plugin is active. We don’t want to deactivate it – Playbuzz are you able to offer a fix or an official solution? Or is a Playbuzz/EXCO official able to say if Marcello’s approach is the best or most effective one?

In reply to: [evolve] Evolve Plus, featured images two different sizesSolved: The difference upon Inspection was that “Intrinsic” pixels are displayed in the featured image, not the inherent pixel dimensions. So, for the featured images the practical dimensions are 768×167 px.

In reply to: [evolve] Header menu can we make it one line?Hi Team,
Yes – it is one row there.
But you see the logo? There is another option in Evolve to raise the menu to the logo’s level. That’s where we want the menu to be.
We have kept the menu at the original “one row” location for now because until we find a solution to the intended request we want to keep it looking as nice as reasonably possible.
Leading you through the steps, if you go to Customize > Header > Header > Choose Header type and …
Oh! I see, nickpapag’s comment prompted me to check out the menu on a screen even wider than mine – then we could see that the menu is responsive and it turned into one line. Also, when I zoomed out on my own screen ie. reduced magnification, it responded and also went to one line by the logo. So, I think the script and function is working there. Thank you very much for creating that setting and option!!
So, we’ll need to decide which setting to use.
Many thanks and kind regards!

In reply to: [evolve] Header menu can we make it one line?Hi Romi,
I did include a link that you can see if you log in.
The site happened to unfortunately be down this AM but is back.
Perhaps widening the page content helps I think it was mentioned here that someone did that.Do you happen to know of other solutions?
I know there is another option that drops the menu down below the header/logo image (we’ve currently set it to this until we know of a solution for the preferred suggested format), but we’re hoping to keep the menu on the header/logo image area in one line.ON Noah

In reply to: Blank blog homepageHi Steve,
I didn’t really know how to access the debug_log, but I then installed an Error Log Monitor plugin to try and generate a php-error log, it pointed me to the right plugin to deactivate/remove. Our blog is now active and in good working condition again!
Thank you for the tip!
Glad I made backups before updating. Will close this once I have reactivated plugins and am generally satisfied with integrity here.

Hi again,
Through a combination of toggling the options to show the custom sidebar in specific category posts, as well as in specific archive categories AND enabling the post Sidebar options via Screen Options, I was able to pull up the sidebar post menu and hide the theme sidebar on a specific post using a blank custom sidebar template.
Thanks jdailey and Custom Sidebars!
Hello again,
I have marked the topic as unresolved again.
Fortunately, overnight, the post titles are normalized again.
We have also updated to the current version of WordPress.
Though, even when I select show sidebar in specific category posts on both custom and theme sidebar options also with specific archive category activated, the post sidebar options still do not display. Should I give this a day for the information to settle in?
Please help if you can.
Best,
ON Noah
Hello again,
Even though I have set the Sidebar Location to a specific category and set the The Sidebar to be replaced for the specific category, I can not get the/see the in-post Sidebar options.
Additionally, since updating, the title of our posts are squished in the admin area into a roughly 15 pixel wide column on my rectangular standard monitor. I updated to the newest version of the plugin today.
I don’t think this method is currently working, or did I not have things configured correctly? Sounds like I will have to further test things.

Thank you – I will try that and could reply if the blank sidebar model successfully accomplishes the objective.
I have also contacted the theme makers, awaiting reply.
Many thanks jdailey!

In reply to: WordPress crashed, is down, need help restoringThank you,
I’ve passed this information on to our best developer.
He will also try downloading the database and the latest WordPress package and will see if he can combine the two and restore it.
That sounds promising, I’m not sure if that is a known method to restore WordPress and otherwise inaccessible content.
