    Hi Mihai,

If I’m the only one requesting this then most likely I’m the problem and using it incorrectly. Do you have a screenshot or URL I can go to to see a sample of the affiliate creatives section set up the way it’s intended? I can model my build after one that is done the way you anticipated.

Thanks for the help, I’m at the beginning of this stage so I can easily change it now and get back on the right track.

    Hi Mihai,

My current breakdown for a product would include an asset for text/educational information that the affiliate would use for content, an image asset, and at least one call to action asset/value proposition.

If I use that setup for each product, and have 200 products on my site, the affiliate would need to scroll through at least 600 assets to find the ones they want for the products they’re promoting.

It would also be confusing because some products would have a “free Canada-wide shipping” call to action, but without an organization system or label the affiliate wouldn’t know what products that call to action can apply to. They also wouldn’t know which educational/text content applies to each image or product asset.

Is there a way to put written content, images, and a call to action all in one creative asset? That way an affiliate would see an image for the product they want to sell and can find all of the information needed in one spot?

Thanks for the feedback, great to know it’s already on the list. I’ll take that as a sign that I’m thinking about things in a logical way.

Do you have any recommendations for how to arrange/setup creatives in a way that reduces the margin for error and confusion for affiliates? If there’s a blog or video for that on your site I can check that out as well.

    Thanks again!

@bsfherman I followed the steps in the video, and included the code in the functions.php file but the search results page still looked the same and still showed shortcode as plain text. Do you have any other suggestions?

If the search results page were structured like this default page listing all products that would be ideal. https://www.ontarioagra.ca/order-online/

    Hi @bsfherman,

Thanks for the reply. I’m not too worried about what is being displayed, more with how it is being displayed. Specifically the descriptions of any products on the results page are displaying shortcode rather than the buttons that the shortcode are meant to display. Additionally, it would be great if the image size for the results was smaller or there were two columns of results so that users didn’t have to scroll as far down the page.

If you can take a look at the sample URL you’ll see both challenges. https://www.ontarioagra.ca/?s=vertical&id=9262

    Thank you for your help.

Hi all, I’m not 100% sure what has changed but the third party shipping plug in seems like the most likely cause of the issue. They built a patch version of the plugin and it now seems to be resolved. I’ve got the default “local pickup” shipping method in all of my shipping zones, along with the third party plugin. Currently, both show on the checkout page even if the items in the cart are from different shipping zones.

Thanks to @lorro for the fast support.

Thanks @lorro I’m using a third party shipping plugin that appears to be the cause of the problem. I’ve reached out to them for support and will update you if they find a resolution or a cause so that we can close this thread with a visible solution for everyone.

@lorro I just tried to add two items from different shipping classes to the cart and the same problem occurred again. It seems to be working with a single item in the cart though.

@lorro It’s back up. Thank you. It appears to be working on my end… How did you know what to check? Where did you find the weird error message?

I’d love to be able to overcome issues like this on my own in the future.

@lorro I deleted the local pickup option and then added it back in. I had previously changed what the customer sees to be “store pickup” but left it at the default “local pickup” this time. Unfortunately it’s still not allowing a user to select the sect shipping method on the list.

I have enabled the local pickup option as the second shipping choice on the live site. This means that customers will be able to see it but not select it. I’d like to turn this off again once you’ve had the chance to review. ontarioagra.ca. Id recommend using our business address at checkout so that you can ensure you’re within relevant shipping areas. 5377 Elcho Road, Wellandport, ON, Canada, L0R 2J0.

Thank you again for taking the time to help. It’s greatly appreciated.

Hi @lorro thanks for reaching out. I’m not sure how to make my staging site available to you other than providing you with login credentials. Do you know how I can share it with you?

I did update the theme in the staging site and it didn’t help. I’ve just updated it and tested it on the live site without it solving the problem.

    Hi @mrmadsci

Did this issue get resolved? Would you be able to share the resolution with me as I’m having the same issues with my payment gateways. I use Elementor on my site – not sure if you do. ontarioagra.ca or [email protected] if you’re will to reach out it would be a huge help. Thank you – Matt.
