In reply to: [Order Tracking - WordPress Status Tracking Plugin] Map alternativeHi Jay,
Thank you for the reply.
I’ll be running tests with the plugin over the weekend. If all goes to plan I’ll be purchasing the pro version
Do you think a different map source other than Google Maps will be on your roadmap, or is it a total no go.
Likewise, is there any plan to implement a barcode (tracking) with the plugin in the future?
Thanks for any information.- This reply was modified 5 months, 3 weeks ago by ontheroad.
Hi Rogier,
Thanks for that.
I just tried RSSSL on another server with Cloudflare, and it worked without any errors. So your thinking about the hosting provider rings true it seems.
I don’t mind about another version if it helps you. I do know that host where I am getting this error is likely not to do anything – and I am getting a full green padlock and SSL approval etc so the error only seems limited to the plugin backend dashboard?

In reply to: [Simple SEO] Importing from other SEO plugins and a few questionsThank you @coleds Testing it out now. Seems to be importing well!
Hi @arnaudbroes
Thank you for your detailed reply. It gives me some faith that you are still involved in this plugin.
I’ll be downloading the plugin over the coming days to a local offline site to test it. Again, and I’m sure you are aware of this, having folk do this is not the best way to promote a plugin. And yes, I’m aware there are many factors that can go wrong in a plugins update.
I’m a big believer in keep it simple. I’ve said it to other developers, but one way to do this while keeping a happy customer base is to offer a free lite version, and a heavier more feature filled pro version. It might be something the team could think about.
Ditto about better release schedules … just before the holidays?! I’ll also throw one in there about making the changelog accessible on the WP page instead of an external one. I know there was an issue about that before and how WP made it difficult. My call on that is, if other plugins, including your competitors can do it, so should you.
Meanwhile, I look forward to seeing, hopefully, positive updates on this new version of the plugin over the coming couple of weeks.
Great to know. Both plugins are excellent. Thanks for resolving it do quickly.
Hello @quttera
It occurs with an Internal Scanner – Default scan. So no, it’s not the high sensitivity scan.
Hope this helps
Hi Eli,
Thank you for such a detailed reply. I understand what you wrote.
Unfortunately the Complete Scan is taking several hours to complete on PHP7.4. On PHP7 it’s done in a few minutes and hangs at 99% (depending on the full scan). So I don’t get any results.
The server is not indicating and usage issues.
I’ll try again with another PHP version other than 7. and 7.4
I’ve just emailed you the class-wp-http-netfilter.php in txt format along with another one that appears with all these infections too.
Having reverted to PHP 7 Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall is not picking up the following infected file
class-wp-http-netfilter.php
Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall still not working with PHP 7.4: Is there any update on this please?
Any update on this?
Hi Eli,
Many thanks once again.
I just donated to your plugin after being malware free for 2 weeks now.
Above all the other plugins I’ve tried, yours has been the best and your support has been outstanding.
I rank you and your plugin above Succuri and the other Malware removal sites.
You’ve simply made an outstanding contribution to the WordPress community and more importantly to individual site owners who cannot afford the fees many malware sites charge.
If anyone is reading this then I wholeheartedly recommend you try this plugin. If it works, do support the author.
Thanks once again for your help, and plugin.
Thanks Eli.
I updated the definitions. There was one more infection overrun last week. I’ve deleted some old plugins which are still available on WP.org but I’ve been trying to narrow down where the breach has occurred. The Log files at the time did not indicate anything, only a change in the infected file and the added .BT files.
I’ve installed a bevy of security plugins. Seems my Xmlrpc.php file is getting pinged constantly.
Interestingly since blocking the Xmlrpc.php by comment spam has gone up.
So far so good in terms of no more infection, as I’m scanning daily and it’s clear so far. Will give it a few more days and let you know.
No problem Eli, and thank you for updating the definitions.
I’m currently monitoring. Your update removed the infected file, but within in a few hours the site was infected again. I’m watching the site logs to see where the infection is coming from and to try and nail it down.
In the meanwhile, do you recommend any of these security plugins? eg iThemes Security etc. Or would it be better to use your firewall?
Hi Eli,
Thank you for the prompt reply. I’ve just emailed you the full Functions code. I’m also happy to help if you you need more information. There are .bt files with ip addresses left by this virus too.
I’ll be happy to make a donation if your plugin is able to remove this malicious code!
Thank you.
This is devastating news. So surprised Michael did not post or give anyone a clue this was going and indeed has happened.
Here’s a link from a blog post by the new AIOSEO owner https://semperplugins.com/all-in-one-seo-is-now-part-of-the-awesome-motive-family/
Over ten years I’ve never seen a takeover go well. Expect ads, promotion of their other bloated plugins etc.
Actively now looking at other SEO plugins for when this happens.
