Hi there. Sorry for the long response time. We’ve tested our plugin in PHP 8 and we dont experience the same issues you’re having.
I suspect it is more likely some play between different plugins and pilotpress. Pilotpress utilizes sessions and as such needs to write cookie headers.
If another plugin needs to emit data prior to Pilotpress loads this could be the culprit to the errors you experienced.

We use to have on Github, but moved the repo / dev of it more internal. If you wanna just clone the main file and shoot us a link to any PR we’re more than happy to have contributors

As for your comment about ” ￠2 of effort into this.” We’re sorry the code did not meet your expectation of code quality. To be frank, this was something written 10+ years ago and updates to them have been done on an as needed basis.
