Dear all helpers.
Even if it’s not the news I was hoping for, at least it’s clear to me now that apparently this isn’t the method.
Still find it strange that “not applicable” still shows the send option despite being “not applicable”.

Thanks again for the quick and clear responses and who knows, see you again with another question.

On the website I have changed the shipping methodes back to the orginal version, so that customers don’t get confused.

If you want to use the shipping methode as above (the new one) please let me know.

To be more precise:
not applicable
For me, this should have meant:
– not to be shown as an option AT ALL.

This is why I started this forum-item.
As Mirko P. showed in the screenshot: client can still choose “DHL ….”
And if he chooses it, the shipping cost will be € 0,00.

NO (and again): not applicable equals not applicable equals not to be shown at all.
There is no reason at all to show the option “DHL …”, a € 0,00 option!!!

As shown above: the following options for shipping are shown:
– Collect in village (which is OK)
– Through company A € 4,10 (which is OK)
– Through company B (which is NOT OK)

Through company B (“Via DHL (afhaalpunt))” is NOT OK according to me.

For:
Shipping class: ‘no-shipping-class’ – Company A 4,10 / Company B “not applicable”

Shipping method “Via DHL ….” (‘Company B’):

Should I just copy the WooCommerce status here? It is 9 pages long (in Word – Calibri 11).

I can make a link to our website, but the settings are now ‘old’ and I make them ‘new’ for you to see.
Do know that customers can see it too.
So I donot want to have this ‘new’ setting open for a long time.

Storefront is same issue.

In the “drop-ins & Must-use” section, I see:
– WP Staging optimizer (must-use)
– Maintenance.php (drop-in)

I had WP staging installed by a third party.

WP Staging started
– Made fake products for each shipping class but double; € 2 + € 102 (above € 100 = free_shipping)
– Shipping classes are: “collect”, “box” & “Large box” plus no-shipping-class.
– De-activated all plugins except for: WooCommerce / WP Staging / Really Simple SSL
– The SSL plugin not because additional question concerning https was asked.
– Changed theme to TwentyFifteen
– Put a fake product in the basket.
– Result completely not as I hoped for
– Re-activated plugin “Elex Hide Shipping plugin”
– Rules in here are: 1] Shipping class “Collect” hides “flat-rate”& “free_shipping” 2] Shipping method “free_shipping” hides “flat_rate”.
– New try with fake product in the basket.
– Better result, but same result as in original website.

Once again the problem:
Happens only when no other than ‘no-shipping-class’ items are in the basket and total amount below € 100.
(due to use of plugin “Elex …” no problems with other shipping classes and amounts above € 100)

If client has items in their basket we offer 2 shipping methods for “box” or “Large box”. We offer only 1 shipping method for ‘no-shipping-class’. (“collect” is only collect off course).

Therefore we created 4 shipping methods:
– Collect in our village (no further details)
– Free shipment above € 100 (no further details)
– Shipment through company A
– Shipment through company B

The last 2 are created as follows:
Shipping class: “collect” – Company A “not applicable” / Company B “not applicable”
Shipping class: “Box” – Company A € 6,75 / Company B € 4,50
Shipping class: “Large box” – Company A € 13 / Company B 7,50
Shipping class: ‘no-shipping-class’ – Company A 4,10 / Company B “not applicable”

But when client puts no other than ‘no-shipping class’ items with total amount below € 100 in the basket: the following options for shipping are shown:
– Collect in village (is OK)
– Through company A € 4,10 (is OK)
– Through company B (is NOT OK)

In fact, client can choose company B with € 0,00 additional shipping cost.

What will next action be to solve the above?
