In reply to: [Termly - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent Banner] GeoIP Detection Not WorkingI have a question about the pop up being hidden outside the EU.
If it’s still there, but only hidden, then the site visitor can’t click the button to allow cookies. So does that mean they’ve not opted-in? Will they not get cookies and mess up my cookie tracking?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Termly - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent Banner] help with Java scriptEdit: everything broke the cookie bar except for fast velocity minify.
Any ideas on how to exempt the correct js?Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Copyright Proof] API key won’t install & can’t bulk certifyI think I fixed it, the key was too old and I had to renew, yet, when I changed it, it changed again by itself. It doesn’t match the one on my account at digiprove.com but at least it seems to be bulk certifying.

In reply to: [Plugin: BackWPup] FTP transfer issueI think I solved my problems:
first, in settings, I disabled WP-Cron.
that made the backup work, but when I went to download it, it still came up empty. So instead, I FTP to the file and transferred it that way. It worked fine.
In my log file, I’m still getting the YELLOW WARNING Messages, but that’s not a big problem.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin: BackWPup] FTP transfer issueI tried asking this question in another post but I’m not sure if it’s more appropriate here. I don’t know anything about cron jobs, I just want to back up my wp files from godaddy using this plugin.
Under backup to Directory, backwpupautomatically enters:
/home/content/x/x/x/xxxx/html/wp-content/backwpup-ea9ca/
(modified for privacy)I don’t recognize the full path or any part of it before wp-content, but sure enough when I ftp to the site, I can see the back up files are in wp-content. But when I run a backup, I get various errors and when I try to download and open the zip files created there, it either says that it’s empty, or else I don’t have permission, or else it’s corrupt (the or else depends on which computer I try to open from (xp or windows7)
Can someone explain what I might be doing wrong? Or am I experiencing the same problems that other posters mention?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: WP-Ecommerce – Shipping & checkout ProblemsI have a similar problem. But the problem isn’t in the plug-in because that shows the correct shipping and tax AND also ADDS IT TO THE TOTAL. My problem is that the WIDGET on the left side DOES SHOW THE CORRECT SHIPPING AND TAX, but under “total” it only totals the merchandise amount without adding the tax. So therefore the left hand widget total is wrong. Please help.
