The only things my websites have in common with Cristian’s website are Contact Form 7 and this plugin. Nothing else is the same.
Thank you for fixing this issue in the 0.26 update for Ultimate FAQ.

In reply to: [Testimonial Rotator] Update to 2.0.2 breaks rotatorHal that worked, thanks.
Testimonials -> All Rotators -> Click “Edit” under the rotator you use, then click “Update”. Don’t even need to change anything first if you don’t want to.

In reply to: [Testimonial Rotator] Update to 2.0.2 breaks rotatorI will try that tonight during a low traffic time for the web site in question.
Meanwhile, a cursory look at file comparisons between the current version 2.0.2 and the previous one I had (thought it was 2.0.1, but turns out it was 1.4. I’d forgotten that I’d also had to revert earlier due to other upgrade issues previously) is showing some CSS differences. Which could easily account for the display issues in any site not using out-of-the-box css for the rotator.

In reply to: [Owl Carousel] Only 5 slides allowedExcellent. That worked perfectly!
I’m pretty sure I’ve tried every single available carousel/slider plugin in the past few weeks, and your Owl Carousel plugin for WordPress is the best one by far. Thanks and keep up the great work.

In reply to: [Owl Carousel] Only 5 slides allowedSame problem here, except now it’s limited to 10 items total no matter what settings I use, even though I have more than 10 items. Where can this be set or changed? My “items” are quite small, and I need to allow for upwards of 100 or more total, with up to 20 at a time (depending on screen size).

In reply to: [TechGasp Networking Master] Update to 2.3 broke itMy intentions, as a paying customer of yours, are to get something with at least as much value as the multitude of free plugins WordPress has to offer, and which at the very least lives up to its claims.
I don’t appreciate your attitude about legitimate concerns expressed, both to me and to the other poster who mentioned similar concerns as mine about terrible customer service. And no, I do not know that person. Feel free to compare IP’s or whatever. My purchases were nearly two weeks after that person’s post.
You specify that it is only possible to update Advanced versions by clicking the download link in the email, and downloading the new version. Those very emails (plural, as I stated; I paid $25 each for two different plugins from TechGasp), clearly state, “Please remember that this link is valid for 180 day(s) only.” So what am I supposed to do when the 180 days expires and you issue another update? SOL, I guess?
This is how you treat your customers? Let this be a warning to other potential customers.
PS –
It is amusing to me that the only high review of your plugin is by you, yourself.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [TechGasp Networking Master] Update to 2.3 broke itOh, and I also stand by what I said about the crazy and offensive number of ads associated with this plugin in the Admin, EVEN the paid Advanced version.

In reply to: [TechGasp Networking Master] Update to 2.3 broke itI *do* have the Advanced versions, bought and paid for. And I stand by what I said: Update to 2.3 broke them.
I had to revert to 2.2 or whatever the number of the previous version was.
I also stand by what I said about bad documentation. Buried in your site, and neither thorough nor clear.
And the update method is absolutely ridiculous. According to your “documentation” on your site, this plugin cannot be updated like every other WordPress plugin. We must first deactivate and completely delete the old plugin, then download the new plugin using a link in an email, then install that as new, and reactivate it. Why, then, is this plugin included in the “Updates” notifications and auto-updates, if that method breaks the plugin completely because all the hoops were not jumped through to first deactivate, delete, download, add, and reactivate instead?
Seriously, THIS is what I paid for??!!
Found what the problem was! The update to 2.0.30 wiped out my custom gallery path setting in Gallery -> Other Options -> “Where would you like galleries stored?”. My custom path had been erased and replaced with the default wp-options/gallery/ path.
I changed it back to what it should be, and uploads work perfectly again, and also show up as they should in thumbnails and galleries.
Are you using a custom path for your galleries? I am. Suddenly NextGen seems to be ignoring gallery paths. I found uploaded images going into a brand new “gallery” directory it created inside wp-content, instead of into the already-established gallery directories that were set up.
