How would we set the product to “require” shipping? I have never need3ed to define that

Hi @mrclayton I am helping @more2think with this issue because we are friends outside of WP and he asked me to take a look at this yesterday. So I can explain what is going on in more dev terms if need be.

So assume you on a single product page and you hit GPay this immediately goes to the thank you page without going thought checkout. The order goes through but of course no shipping method is selected. So although I have the persons’ address in the order I have no idea if they wanted “Home delivery” or “ACS (delivery) via courier”. These are all flat rate shipping methods I assumed because maybe @more2think has an account on the site it may be skipping this because he has previous orders or something. So I tried with my email because I don’t have an account on the site and the same thing happens

The one thing I can say is that @more2think allows guest checkout if that makes a difference.

Now if we go to checkout and then use gpay the user data is filled out from gpay but again in the gpay popup we don’t see the shipping methods we defined in Woocommerce to be able to select the one we want but after we close the gpay popup we can select a shipping method.

The question is if the shipping method should be visible in the gpay popup on the single product page and the cart page or is it normal not to pick up the shipping methods defined on woocommerce inside the gpay popup?

If this is normal then how will we know the shipping method if the user hit gpay on the productsingle page?

My issue is the same as described here and as such disabling plugins or switching themes will not help. Just as an FYI

@tijosh thanks for the reply, Let me try and answer your questions. Just to say this again the issue is that when I add a new product the product is fine in Woocommerce but on facebook it gets posted twice one with an image and one without. In woocommerce them image is there.

1. On the Woocommerce side is where the products are being created. All we are doing is clicking add new and doing the data entry. In woocommerce everything is fine. On facebook is where the issue is.
2. Sku aren’t being changed. woocommerce is fine

It was at 2 when I sent the support ticket today i’s at 5 but I can tell you I have more then 5 posts/objects to index.

As a developer mysleft I thought timeout might be an issue so I set the connect per second throttle or whatever it was called from the default 10 down to 1. Anything else I can do?

Sometimes it is simpler. Make sure your taxes are setup in the correct taxes class. Example when adding a product you might classify it as Taxable Goods. Your rates should be set for this class

I solved the same issue David was having on the woocommerce product page by limiting the number of items displayed. I had set 800 initially so I can see all my products at once but that lead to php memory issues on my host. so i limited to 10 per page and now the popups work fine.
