In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Offsite Version that automates Maxmind like old days?Per the requirements listed on MaxMind’s site, I think the notice would only be required in the plugin documentation or settings page, not on the public site using this plugin.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Offsite Version that automates Maxmind like old days?Out of curiosity, what was the precise concern of the WordPress people? The GeoLite databases are under the Creative Commons BY-SA 3.0 license. Wouldn’t any licensing concern be satisfied by including the suggested notice within the plugin?

In reply to: [WPML to Polylang] Problem with language switcher on migrated pagesStrange. I wonder what is. I thought maybe some setting to synchronize them was accidentally copied over from WPML, but I guess I will need to look elsewhere.

In reply to: [WPML to Polylang] Problem with language switcher on migrated pagesThat makes sense, and I think you are probably right. However, when I change the slug for the English page, it changes for the Chinese page, and vice versa. Is it possible that Polylang is synchronizing these fields? I don’t see it listed in the synchronized fields, but maybe the setting was incidentally imported from WPML and not exposed through the UI.

In reply to: [WPML to Polylang] Problem with language switcher on migrated pagesSorry, I had to set it up again for testing this.
As you can see, the switcher does work on the main page, but it doesn’t work on any other page. The translated page should be at “/zh-hans/minfraud/chargeback/”.

In reply to: [WPML to Polylang] Problem with language switcher on migrated pagesThis happens even if I don’t change any of the Polylang settings from the default. I have only tested this on a staging site as we were examining the feasibility of switching. Here are the current settings:
URL modifications:
– The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks
– checked: Hide URL language information for default language
– Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks
– The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page idDetect browser language: checked
Media: checked

In reply to: [WPML to Polylang] Problem with language switcher on migrated pagesYes, from what I can tell, the pages are correctly associated with the translations and vice versa. If I click on the translation pencil, I get the correctly translated page. Everything appears to work on the admin side. However, the language switcher on the actual site is not functional for these pages; clicking it just reloads the English page. Also, typing in the URL with the language code, e.g., site.com/zh-hans/page-name does not work, even though that is what it displays on the admin page for the translation.
New pages seem to work fine.
