I had the same problem, my whole site affected. If you cannot wait for the upcoming release fixing the bug, I suggest to do a rollback to previous version of slider Plugin (2.9.0) and it will leave your site equal as it was before the update.
For a rollback, I used the “WP Rollback” plugin, it worked perfectly. You can find it in : https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-rollback/installation/
