Awesome, thank you for your help! I’ll leave this topic as ‘unresolved’ for now but will make sure to change the status as soon as the update goes live and I am able to test it.
Ah yeah, after I submitted the post I deactivated the plugin temporarily so that none of my visitors would be bothered by the error message. I’ll activate it again right now and link you to a single article so that you can see what I’m talking about.
Here’s an example of a post where the error messages do appear: https://www.otakureview.net/?p=14368
And an example of a post where the error messages don’t appear: https://www.otakureview.net/?p=14457
Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Double checked the web host and as far as I’m aware I do not have a caching service running on the server.
I did finally manage to see what kind of error message I’m getting (HTTP error) and clearing the image cache from the plugin options menu did not help matters. I’m now to the point where the plugin does not work on any browser and I can’t really continue my work which is really frustrating.
Any further suggestions or fixes would be appreciated.
I tried deactivating all other plugins to see if there was a conflict with one of them but after doing so I found that the problem still persisted. I am finding that after clearing my browser cache that if I switch to another browser it will work again but then the problem happens again and I have to switch back to the other browser. I really don’t want to have to go through all my old pages switching from Firefox to Chrome and back again but if that’s what I have to do I will.
