I came here to post about this same exact issue. I have a site where it seems that the merging and minification of JS causes the site to not load properly. I ticked “Disable JS Minification” and “Don’t Merge JS” and was shocked to find out that it is still minifying JS. I tried Purge All but when I come back I see a bunch of JS files that have been minified by the plug-in.

Seems like something is broken no? Disable should disable.

Anyone?

This is resolved with the plugin update

I could be wrong, but I do not think the Site Kit plugin adds Google Analytics tracking to your site. I think it only pulls in data from your Google account and displays it in your admin dashboard. So I believe you still need to ensure you are adding things like your Google Analytics tracking code to your site.

Thanks for the reply. I filled out the support ticket, but was unable to attach any screenshots to it.

Seems very stranger because I tested switching the theme to Astra and the carousel block works perfectly. However in OceanWP it does not display correctly on the front end or in the customizer. It does display correctly in the Gutenberg editor.

I am actually looking to do this same exact thing. I am modifying my theme and trying to get it to display the series name. I assume it is a custom taxonomy and wonder what the id or name of it is.

Thanks for the quick reply Craig. Good to know you guys are on top of things. The site in question I have a copy of running locally on my machine, so I will update that to 5.0 and have a look to see if there any issues. If I find anything I will make another post.

I’ve started seeing this on one of my sites. Tried logging out from the WordPress app and logging back in, but that did not work. Now it says it can’t read the site when I try to login.

I have been editing the posts on the Facebook side and manually changing the code, but I will give this a try next week and see if it works for me.

I found a solution. If you make the images available for Facebook comments and likes it will add a bottom margin to them.

Just add the following inside the opening figure tag of each image

data-feedback="fb:likes, fb:comments"

Don’t know if it will help but I had to disable my lazy load plugin in order for my gallery to display after upgrading to 2.0.

Problem is persisting even with the latest update. Anyone?
