Hi Ahmed, thank you for coming back to me, I think I know the problem. Originally the gallery was inserted via the classic editor and when I changed to Gutenberg, it converts this into a code block instead of a gallery block. So if I go into each blog, delete the code block and insert a new gallery block, images appear no problem.

Thank you for coming back to me. I turned on the feature, ran the test from US & UK via https://www.webpagetest.org/ which showed a 5/6 second delay from related posts.

I’m trying to get my site to load under 4 seconds, right now it is ranging between 6-10 seconds.

I have tested with related posts switched off and the waiting notice above is gone and the speed time goes down by 3-5 seconds.

Thank you so much! Adding this code has taken 3 seconds off my page speed so I am really grateful.

Just one thing, on the page speed report for https://www.ourtasteforlife.com/sekumpul-fiji-waterfall-bali/amp/ it says “Reduce the impact of third-party code Third-party code blocked the main thread for 470 ms” under this says AMP 351KB.

Under this again is “Minimize main-thread work 4.4 s”
Script Evaluation – 1,853 ms
Style & Layout – 1,585 ms
Other – 469 ms
Rendering – 292 ms
Script Parsing & Compilation – 157 ms
Parse HTML & CSS – 75 ms

Could you advise me what to do about this? Many many thanks!

Hi Gerard, thank you for coming back to me quickly.

So I had only changed the first image on https://www.ourtasteforlife.com/pink-beach-in-labuan-bajo/
I have looked into this further this morning and found that when I open the first image in a new tab of chrome, the link starts with https://i0.wp.com/
Which is Jetpack plugin, so I turned off the “speed up image load times” under the Jetpack performance settings and the new image has loaded.

However, I need this setting turned on to load my posts quickly & turning it back on reverts to the old image. Looking at https://jetpack.com/support/site-accelerator/ under limitations it says current images are cached forever and if the image needs updating the file name needs to be changed. So I replaced the image again but selecting the “replace the file, file name & update links” and success the new image is loading on this post and other posts too.

I’m explaining all this if it can help others with the same issue using Jetpack.

This plugin is going to save me so much time, THANK YOU!
