All good now, thanks for the prompt action.

Same issue, no more to be said. Note from author indicates it will be fixed within 24 hrs from my post so I will sit tight.

Hi GUYS, Iam following this topic and have the same problem. Has anybody had resolution to this topic or has it gone “Inhouse” to be resolved in a less public manner?

    Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [AMP] No Validated URLs

Hi guys, if it helps any, I was getting the same cURL28 issue. I turned of all my plugins and worked through each. Checkin site health each time. It was 40 plus plugins. For me it was the All in one widget kit for Elementor as the cause. Disabling it cleared site health warnings and removed the php error in the logs on my server.

If you are using Elementor you may also have that widget kit.

If not then a quick look in the logs might give you a clue as to the culprit. I have cpanel so went to File manager – logs – mydomain.com.php.error.log

i get the same cURL 28 ERROR which then appears to affects other cron jobs. Also it throws an error in the logs on the server.

[29-Jan-2020 04:17:04 UTC] PHP Warning: session_start(): Cannot start session when headers already sent in ***********/public_html/**mydomain**/wp-content/plugins/widgetkit-for-elementor/admin/admin-init.php on line 101

Currently disabled the plugin to limit conflict for other site functions.
As a side effect it prevents AMP from displaying the list of validation errors in its UI.

Thank you Marko for your prompt reply.
Yes that fixed it in one fell swoop. Right on the money. I am getting a clean bill of health (A 100) on Speed Tests now for “Serve resources from a consistent URL”.
My page was running at 92 requests, changing this setting plus some other optimization dropped me back to 58. I believe 21 of those requests were the duplicated minified files in my original post above. Thanks again. Great support.

Sorry, I since found a support page and reported it to the developer.

Thanks for the quick reply Doug, it just seems to affect the WordPress screen options and Help taps in Admin and the Woocommerce Product Data Tab in my Website. There may be other data masked by this phenomenon but as yet I am unaware of what that might be. I presume that the people involved in the core code of WordPress and Woocommerce might have an idea where this Chrome plugin might be capable of interacting or corrupting their display code. The developers link on the Chrome Plugin just leads to a Github page where the Author says it was developed on an existing app and accepts no responsibility accordingly. Seems to have become an orphan. So dead end there. Maybe I can find someone in google to remove it from the extension library if this is the case.

If there was a Log of changes i could access would be the ideal place to search. Any ideas?

I can report this issue has disappeared as of today 16/02/2017. I had 4 sites on wordpress all running the Tesseract theme. I have been doing quite a bit of work on two of the sites, made many changes, added and removed plugins etc. I noticed today after installing ThemeCheck plugin that my help and screen option buttons were now working. Wanting to know if this was caused by adding this plugin i then checked the other sites without this plugin to see if it was related. All the other sites without this plugin also now function so not related. I wondered at what triggered it so i went to the site i have not touched in a few months and yes the menus work there also. There are 10 outstanding plugin updates but i left the with out updating in case they might help exclude themselves as being involved. Only auto update could have caused the menus to return. Noe i need to isolate which one for future reference. Thanks Jose.

So sorry Eric for my late reply. Yes the issue is still manifesting as slow admin.
Have disabled the plugin, admin speeds up. Deactivated plugin, admin speed improves.
Deleted and reinstalled plugin, activated plugin, admin slows down.
When active GZIP shows good compression on the GZIP checking site and also improved load speed on speedtest sites.
I could deactivate each time i use admin but seems an unnecessary burden.
Alternately go with one less plugin and add the code to .htaccess?
If you are successful building an update I would certainly be interested.

    Thanks Eric

I have been chasing the same problem. Today I also deactivated all plugins and reactivated one by one. I checked the load time moving between admin pages after each activation. With very few plugins activated load time was 2 seconds. When i enabled the GZIP load time jumped to 10 seconds. I deactived GZIP and loaded all other plugins which realized a maximum load time of 3-4 seconds for all. Loaded GZIP again and back up to 10 seconds. I am on current version 1.1.7 where this thread indicates the problem was fixed after 1.1.4? Can you please help?

Hi Jose, no console errors on this. Only additional info I can add is I’m on the Tesseract theme and have a persistent popup at the top of this page prompting me to buy their unbranding plugin to remove their company and logo from the footer of the theme. There is a second popup recommending i buy Beaver Builder from them also. Don’t know if the code for these is interfering with the Help and Screen Options.
I do have a plugin called:-

    Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions
Optimizes the WordPress Database after Cleaning it out
Version 4.2.1 | By CAGE Web Design | Rolf van Gelder, Eindhoven, The Netherlands

I did consider at one stage that the relevant database that feed Help and Screen Options may have been dumped by this plugin but decided subsequent to that belief there were many updates to WordPress that would have reinstated those missing files.

Is there any further info that might help?

Thanks in advance so much for your interest and help

    Brendan
